I've been keeping quiet about this drama because it's that no-drama drama that is such fluffy and cute...And that is until I watched ep. 18. Hmmm, am I the only one who think YG's family is a bunch of hypocrites (tempted to say a**holes right now). Cause here is the thing, LYY made a mistake when he was barely a teenager and a decade plus later, they are still crucifying him for that like WYF. Oh I knew I may not like YG's mom and now I definitely dislike her. I say she is a hypocrite because she says, she is not judging him and yet she acts exactly that πAnd that sister/auntie is a piece of work...the way she treated the waitress and said a mouthful about LYY π...Like bit** please π. And they say when you marry someone, you marry the family...oh hell no to a family like that.
Overall 7.5/10 for me Finally it has ended...Not gonna lie, I got through to the end with an "Are we there yet" mind. Which means there are things are loved and some things not so much and here is what I think: Love 1) I absolutely loved the camaraderie turned strong friendship in this. There were completely different people except for a few but the way they grew to trust eachother throught thick and thin is commendable. I trust these guys will have eachother's backs even moving forward. 2) The plot...I mean I'm such a sucker for a good game turn reality story so I easily like this one. Those games were incredible like sometimes I had a tight grip on my chair from the anxiety of what could happen and the way our leads and co. came through and fight was brilliant. My best were the games in the beginning which blew me away (great CGI) 3) Music: Let's just say I'm now addicted to that ending theme song 4) The chemistry and acting I put these two together because everyone had chemistry with eachother and the acting was well balanced. Definitely will be eyeing the FL actress.
Not so much Love 1) Plot and Characters: Yeah I said I loved it but also kinda dislike it especially from halfway through. The story felt stagnant and some of what should have been my Ahaaa moments were not delivered well. I really think if the drama was shorter, it could have been better. Also felt like the main leads characters were a bit monotonous. Even the supporting role characters had development so what happened to the leads. 2) Love Chemistry: As much as I loved the the friendships and all, I was not keen on the romance part of it. 3) Weak Villain: Now this was my biggest disappointment because I was waiting for the big reveal on why the villain was doing that and it was meehhh. I literally eye-rolled on the story about the daughter etc.
So thats some of my fav and not so fav review about the 19th floor.
Okay that man behind the scenes controlling the game is a true psychopath. Like he is getting pleasure derived from those poor peoples misery.... WTH. Okay I'm sad foe Qiang-ge but for real though....why are the people with no brain (no offense to their IQ) be the ones who want to play hero. If it was Gao Xiaun and Chun Yue who ended up in the bottom 2, at least they would use their wits to get out of there. Even DouDou would have tried.
Watched till ep 12 and it is told that they're having chips in their brain... Alright let's say they all got it…
So here is my theory. I think that maybe when they put on the VR set thingy on(not sure if it's the right word), they might have been injected with that chip. Maybe they were focused on the game that they didn't feel it... Just my guess
Omg! After watching the latest ep. and saw exactly what happened to Non, I can say, I want everyone to perish in HELL. No, I want them to suffer then die a slow painful death. Non was such a sweet innocent soul and they treated less than human so I've got no sympathy whatsoever to what they are going through. Actually, now I want some popcorn, sit down and enjoy watching them suffer. Maybe Jin can be spared but still he should suffer a little because he did not do enough to help Non. Right now I'm possessed by vengeance that I just want misery and death for all of them....huh
OMG! We have an underdog and I'm obsessed...Wow, this drama is brilliant. I didn't think too much when I delved in and now 4eps. in I'm all hooked and craving for more. Always love Miles Wei and it's a delight to see him in casual clothing (a break from all the suits) but I gotta say Sun Qian surprised me. Neither knew her or seen anyof her dramas (if she has been in some dramas I've watched then I didn't pay attention to her) so seeing her here is refreshing. She is a good actress and definitely one to watch out for. For 30eps. We are in for a treat but part of me wishes this drama to have been short (like Reset) so that the story is more tight, because they tend to fluff about in the middle of these type of long dramas. Alas, I take what I get so let's Go!
I gotta say, I am enjoying this immensely. I started it for Lyric Lan but now I'm here to stay because of the cases and main plot. The judge and law thing is very interesting but there are times I just don't want the law to be that harsh. E.g. the woman in the first case didn't deserve that ruling. I'm curious about Mr Qi's wife...like whether she will turn out to be alive or dead. The latter is more plausible but then again, this is a drama. My only negative so far is the brother-in-law character. Aaaah, his character is soooo annoying that I want to ff each of his scenes. Anyway great drama so far...
EVERYONE...I AM OBSESSED WITH THIS DRAMA! OMG! It's soooo goooood that I kept refreshing my page expecting a new ep. only to come here and realise today ain't the day...dammit What shall I do in the next few days. The FL character is my style...Nini is stunning and I have wished for a character like this for her because she has the face and physic for it. And my dream has come true. Liuxi is my role model when I grow up...hehehe I just love her fierce and spunky personality. My fav. Is when she punished those three who locked them out. I was like, yeeeah that's my girl. I love Bai Yu....he is my crush alright. But in here I'm gal-crushing so bad, Hehehe Ep. 15-18 prev. is so intense and creepy but also Swoony....Aiyoooo my heart

It's a drama after all.
Even the recent drama "Why Her" was a like that and I enjoyed it.

Sigh...I feel like all the hours of watching are being rewarded by the ending...hehe
