I really like the mystery in this! Everyone seem to be hiding something. It's funny how the ones with deadly secrets were okay with fortune telling in public. Wouldn't you be afraid what will happen if your secret gets exposed hence say no...hehe And now they are all paranoid and stalking Rose...sigh I do think the ones who had their fortune told on the event are on the main suspect list (well excluding Thee becoz he is ML) as it makes sense to silence Rose so the secrets stay buried but I have a feeling the one who wants Rose dead is not one of them but someone else. It's always the least suspicious person aka the quiet innocent ones.
I wanna watch this but I'm afraid the ending will be either sad or open..is it really worth watching it??
100 percent sure it's a Happy Ending ? That intro shows them having a wedding. And if it goes further like the Kdrama version and we are lucky, we might get to see them having another child.
Hands Down, this is one of the best chemistry I have ever seen in Cdrama. The realistic feel of the OTP left me in awe, I would dare say, that's what saved this drama. I heard some people saying they were boring or flat etc... And, I'm like, that's what a real couple is like...just natural and simple. Cliche breakups aside, the Main Leads chemistry got me confused multiple times and 8/10 I was convinced that they are actually dating not acting....hehehe. And that's the power of their scene presence.
I think a more accurate summary would be:ML is the boss, a perfectionist, and suffers from OCD. He meets FL, who…
Oh thank you for saving me a whole lot of stress. It's just 24 ep. and you are telling me they want to cramp all that angsty in there....Well No Thanks.
I have a curious question... When is this drama ending and How many eps. does it have?? I thought 45 like it says above but started seeing trailers of 46,47,48 ep. It's not really a fantastic drama to have an ep. extension, no offence. It's already draggy and sometimes boring with 45 ep, so I wonder why the extension.
OMG, I really like this version because I am reflecting a lot on some of their issues unlike the previous versions where I just enjoyed myself and not think...(well, I have grown as well so there is that). Now did the ML cheat, Yes he did although not intentional. BUT Nomatter, how we may look at it....he still cheat on his girlfriend, Anna. However, I feel like his relationship with Anna was already on the verge of collapsing if not already...he was just too daft to realise it...(see how he never say, I love you back and always pretends everything was okay with Anna's career stuff...the secretary saw it too). I refuse to believe, if he was so much in love with Anna, he would have slept with Jian-Xi, alcohol or not.
Xiyi's indecisiveness led to so much pain for Jian-Xi and Anna...but let's be real; that's no excuse for Anna's bit*** behaviour afterwards. The only little problem with Jian-Xi is to not stand up for herself and ask Xiyi to make up his mind about the whole situation...well even move out and live by herself until he has figured things out (after all, she is aware of Anna)....But then again, that's expecting too much from a character that's supposed to be naive, passive and too nice. Did I say Xiyi was the biggest problem, well I will say that again. Because, when Anna causes Jian Xi's miscarriage with her jealous stupidity, Xiyi should have cut her off completely but what does he do...nope, he still let her linger around. Thank God for his family who are having none of that (can I just say, I love his Auntie). To be honest in real life, the 2nd male lead would be a better choice (if he is not related to 2nd FL) destiny be damned.
the ratings are good but do people actually think it is? I can't really get an answer from the comments. please…
To be honest I have mixed reviews but let me try and help. The story mainly revolves around the FL and her sect therefore she is at the centre of it all and you will see her a lot. So the FL acting; well in the beginning I was not a fan because she pretty much was always a damsel in distress and the ML was always always there to save her. However once something happens she grew and you can clearly see some character development, she actually became more independent and likeable. The ML character is basically to save FL many many times but he has a mystery of his own. The chemistry between the 2 leads is what kept me going. Well to be precise, the ML kept me, hehehe. The villains are either just cruel for uninteresting reasons, plain boring or funny at times and a few surprises. The story is like an ocean wave, sometimes it's strong, sometimes weak and at times somewhere in the middle. I wouldn't be surprised if you watch it, drop it or watch it, drop it then pick it up again or watch it through the end (I was conflicted as well). It's one of those dramas, I think you gotta be in the mood for. The Bonus is it has a Happy Ending.
If you want a a simple and yet enjoyable story then here is your ticket. The main leads chemistry is very cute and I really love the fact that ML never made things harder or bully her at all despite the fact he was forced into the marriage hence didn't know or like the FL at first (honestly I'm sick of those dramas of immature ML who want to make FL life miserable because they don't like her in the beginning). The ML character development happens at a gradual yet realistic pace and I love the fact FL always try to highlight his strengths which only made him to become better (I think we all need someone like that). Oh and props for the Best In-laws ever... They accept and love the FL despite her ?? identity and even when they find out, they still adore her. Actually, they love her more than their own son, hehe (Where do I get In-Laws like that of my own). The Ending is one of the Most Perfect I have ever seen. You get satisfied and fulfilled like you have accomplished something, lol. (Rewatch value for ending = 100) P.S. NEVER WATCH THIS DRAMA WITH AN EMPTY STOMACH.
I don't think it will be 7 years as in second teaser the male lead mentions "3 years back"...so I think it will…
Oh right, thanks for correcting me (gosh it's been a while since I saw the K-version) Oh and the pace this one is going, I'm beginning to understand why it's 36 ep.
Oh if you think you have exhausted this story, then try again with this one. The story remains pretty much the same but with a modern spin. Oh and who needs aphrodisiac when there is alcohol and a sizzling chemistry between our OTP plus throw in shortgun wedding. To be honest, in all my Cdrama watching, this remains my best couple. Xi Yi is making me laugh and the ML acting is a little different from the usual, in a good way. Jian Xi, well is exactly how she is supposed to be. Not gonna lie, I needed a sec to adjust to Liang Jie's character as I have been used to the feisty, over the top princess in TEL. The first few ep. pretty much introduced all our leads incl. 2nds.... Oh wow, Dylan is hot...no, I'm not wavering, I'm just appreciating...heheh P.S. Do we really need a 7 Year separation??? And why the F*** is it 36 ep. K-version was just 16 ep.
I cannot even say enough, how much I love this drama...OMG This is what I call zero expectation = 100% satisfaction. And above all, I actually love the message within. In China, where being a divorced single mother is frowned upon, I like that this drama was a little light (although maybe nowhere near reality as not everyone would stumble upon a young, rich hottie) to all the women in the same situation. That life doesn't end after divorce, you can still pick yourself up, dust off and start again. Oh and the importance of friendship or shall I say the right friends. Another thing, I commend Xun Xun for is that she never succumb to the idea of getting back together with her ex for their child's sake. And that's admirable as a lot of women gets trapped in that "for the child's sake" scenario. Another plus is it focused on Xun Xun's journey post divorce and not about the kid. In as much as I would have wanted to see her regular contact with her son hence more involvement, I still respect that it was about Xun Xun discovering herself again and of course falling in love. I really like stories like these, simple and yet deep if you look close enough.
- FL is weak in martial art but she isn't a crybaby. She's responsible and strong. FL isn't suppose to have every…
Thank you so much. I shall continue. I've been spoiled these days as they have been many strong FL from the start of the drama. But exactly like you said, there is room for character development so I should give her a fair chance.
Well hookups and breakups are the core of dramas. In majority.Still some can be fun, some are heavy, some just…
If only it was that simple Hookup and Breakup...I will definitely watch. Because yeah, it's fun until it becomes a broken record. But the breakups in these dramas 9/10 are unnecessary or stupid. Oh and don't get me started with annoying bizarre 2nd leads. But I get what you say. After all one man's treasure is another man's trash.
Everyone seem to be hiding something. It's funny how the ones with deadly secrets were okay with fortune telling in public. Wouldn't you be afraid what will happen if your secret gets exposed hence say no...hehe

Is it subbed yet?
Is it worth watching so far guys?
Woah, our girl Dilraba knows how to groove...OMG
