Just finished it. It was okay. Feels like a show you'll quickly forget after watching it. I thought both princes were really cute, so it was worth it for them. (Other side couple was just boring)
This is my second Cheng Xiao drama, and I really don't want to be a hater... but I am beginning to question her acting abilities... I am planning on watching Lie to Love soon, hopefully she'll be better in that.
Not a fan of the horse violence. I know it's probably fake, but I cringed at a couple scenes where the horses face planted.
This drama has a cheap budget, but still really fun and I binged all the available episodes already. The main couple has great chemistry (the untamed brother needs more main roles - he is crazy attractive). Deng Wei is adorable, playing a different personality than the Pavilion Lord.
Main complaint is the grandmother's wig, it's really bad... Not sure if she is supposed to look so tacky on purpose, as the family runs a fashion business?
My mandarin is terrible, but this is super cute so far. (Watched 1st two episodes, hopefully there will be english subs soon)
There is a cat tree with at least three fluffy cats in the studio where they work, so nice bonus treat for cat lovers.
For an unclear reason (to change his clothes at work?), Miles Wei takes his shirt off in the first 10 minutes of this show just for the FL to ogle him - so at least they understand who their audience is haha.
As expected, the two leads make a really good pairing!
I'm probably in the minority that I enjoyed the second couple way more that the first (halfway through I just skipped all the scenes without them). I thought they were much more interesting and romantic that whatever contrived nonsense was going on with the leads.
I thought it was hilarious every time artist boy got sad he would paint angsty art.
Third FL was incredibly annoying and I couldn't even handle a scene of her from the beginning - I can't stand female characters whose main personality trait is whining and being a spoiled brat.
I can't believe I almost didn't watch this because of the bad reviews. It's 100% worth it if you are a LLX fan (granted I skipped every scene he wasn't in) So yeah, story is silly (the more absurd it got, the more I enjoyed it) and it is little too long, but Luo Yun Xi is fantastic (so much crying and angst).
Now this show makes more sense - I think the producers must have known how popular the character is, as they casted the better actor as Jack haha
I'm probably going to skip through this just for Deng Wei's / Zheng Fan Xing's Scenes

That seems like a really quick turn around time if true. Yay! more Luo Yun Xi!
I'm going into Xiao Zhan withdrawals
there are lots of good dramas currently airing, so hopefully just pushed it back a little
