Actually S2 aired on weekend slot which already gives them higher reach whereas s1 aired on Wed-thurs slot where…
Good to know there are still some reasonable and neutral commentators around in this site. Most of them here have either extreme hatred or extreme love for certain actors that they become extremely biased in their views. It's no wonder some really crappy shows are getting super high ratings here whilst some really good ones have low ratings.

If you noticed, he doesn't have many different facial expressions and he seems to be typecasted. His role in TOTNT is pretty similar to goblin where he just goes around looking cool. He's good looking no doubt but to say he's better at acting than Jo bo ah is like the biggest joke ever. At least JBA tried different genres as a lead and succeeded (TOTNT season 1 was no.1 in ratings throughout its time slot, military prosecutor doberman hit double digit ratings on a weekday slot at 10.30pm, something which is definitely not easy to achieve especially since weekday dramas tend to struggle to reach double digit ratings. Her role in both of those dramas are polar opposites).Yet they claim JBA sucks And LDW is great. Crazy fandom is real. Thank god Korean viewers doesn't share the same sentiment lol. In fact if you look purely at the new casts alone, this season 2 should have easily hit 10% ratings. I mean we have kim so yeon (baeksang winner) and ryu kyung soo (one of the main lead in itaewon class, a 17% rating drama and the recent young actors retreat show) as additional leads as well as up and coming young actress such as kang na eon (crash course in romance). Anything less than double digit ratings on a weekend show with such a casts is a failure. Lol

In my opinion S2 fight was better. It felt more epic and action-packed. Yeon actually went full nine-tailed fox-mode…
Well, the fight against the underlings lasted way longer than the fight against the final boss with a "susanoo". Here I thought "wow a Japanese mountain god, he must be super powerful". Nah. He literally got one shot even with his susanoo. Lol. Heck the best fight scene actually belongs to moo Yong.

should I watch the first season before this one to understand the plot?
You should. Season 2's story is pretty crappy and too many things are left unanswered . You won't understand the story if you did not watch season 1.

Well that's true. The chauvinist attitude is quite apparent. LDW hasn't had a hit drama since goblin (and he wasn't even the lead), same goes to kim bum yet some people make it sound like they are the best actors ever. Lol

Chill. I didn't say it was purely because of the cameo.i just said it is the main reason, not the only one. People making it sound like season 1 was shit simply because they disliked the actress is dumb AF. Not to mention constantly comparing both seasons when the writing is clearly crappy and the show is being carried mostly by the actors whether it's season 1 or 2.

Huh? Ep 11 has the lowest rating ever for season 2 at 4%. All of a sudden there's a 4% jump simply because it's an ending ? Your logic is hilarious. Such a coincidence the last episode has a cameo from the main female lead in season and the ratings skyrocketed by a massive 4%. Yeah I wonder what logic enables a jump from the lowest ever rating to the highest ever rating of the same season when all the characters are the same except for the cameo. Lol. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to know the reason. Furthermore this is AFTER the cameo was publicised and guess what, the cameo was publicised before episode 11 aired and they specially mentioned the cameo will be in episode 12 and coincidentally , episode 11 has the lowest rating ever. Shows tend to have more viewers for last episode, sure but not all will obtain a massive jump. Just look at reborn rich.the last episode had just minor increase in ratings due to the terrible ending although people were expecting it to beat the world of the married since the increase in ratings per episode was huge prior to that. Lol

Spot on. Some people are still coping and trying to make it seem as though season 2 is miles ahead of season 1 lol. Furthermore season 2 aired on an earlier time slot compared to season 1 and still flopped. It literally took a cameo From Jo bo ah for the ratings to increase by almost 4%. Coincidence? I doubt it. Lol.

Well judging by how this season flopped badly, it won't be a surprise . The only bright spot is the mermaid lady…
Season 2 aired on a weekend and yet couldn't even hit 10%. Season 1 aired on weekdays and was no. 1 for it's entire run. Not to mention episode 11 of season 2 had a rating of 4.7 which is only like 0.3 higher than the lowest rating of season 1. All this with Kim so yeon being the new lead. Stop coping. It flopped. Funnily the highest rating came on the very episode Jo bo ah appeared in a cameo. That speaks volume. Yet delusional people are still claiming she's not good enough to pull in the ratings. LoL

is this worth the watch? how is it compared to S1?
It's worse. The story is pretty incoherent . In fact you can just watch the 1st episode and just jump straight to last 2 episodes and you won't miss a thing cause its only in the last 2 episodes that you will find out what the heck the whole story is about. It's something like reborn rich. A whole big nothing story wise.

So Jo bo Ah is maybe female lead in season 3 because ahreum is from joseon era
Well judging by how this season flopped badly, it won't be a surprise . The only bright spot is the mermaid lady and Lee rang. The big bad guy got defeated in like 5 seconds lol. Silly AF. Even the shinigami mercenaries were tougher.

Well ratings are tanking so they had no choice but to use her to boost up the ratings .
She probably felt indebted because right after season 1 , she landed a role in military prosecutor doberman which was a success (double digit ratings). Some people are just too nice. She always has the kind hearted look even when she appeared on variety shows.

Title Doctor Cha
bad ending?
Ending is OK but the storyline sucks . Worth to watch if you need to get your blood pressure up or you like shows that insults womenfolk.
