Shes acting like a spoiled and rude brat in hopes that her real mum will think she's a handful and too much to handle and just leave them alone. I thought that was a pretty smart move. It's like telling her real mum "hey this is how I am, an obnoxious and rude kid. Think you can live with it?" sort of thing. Guess a lot of people didn't catch this.

I gotta say, the scene where hae yi runs into her mum's arms after her csat results were released that mirrors the scene when she did the same as a kid is just sooo beautifully shot. Amazing scene. I really love such touching scenes in dramas/movies.

RYS was awesome. She definitely at the very least deserves a Best New Actress nomination at the Baeksang Awards…
Lee sung min is the actor who acted as a grandfather of the male lead in reborn rich. His acting there was just amazing. He's literally a shoo-in for best actor. Reminds me of shin ha-kyun in beyond evil (he won a baeksang for best actor for that role). Not sure if you heard of reborn rich. It's currently the 2nd highest rated cable kdrama. However if you decide to watch it, be aware that the ending is absolute dogshit lol.

She does! If Roh Yoon-seo and Lee Sung-min doesn't win a baeksang, I won't believe in baeksang ever again.lol. I just don't see anyone having had a better year than these 2 in their respective categories.

Final episode rating is 17.038, enough to break into top 10 of the highest rated paid drama. Yay! Roh Yoon seo is the mvp of the show for me. Overall despite the minor hiccups, it has been a great show nonetheless. The young students really stole the show for me. The acting is just sooo good. Storyline was a bit off at times with some glaring plotholes but it was still fun nonetheless. Can't wait for yoon-seo's next drama/movie.

About Roh Yoon Seo - I just realized that I've now watched both her dramas and her movie - so all three things…
If she doesn't win it will be a travesty. Grandpa from reborn rich should win best actor. If these two doesn't win, it will be really sad.

Title Crash Course in Romance Spoiler
I can see a lot of disappointment with episode 15. Honestly to me, the only thing I didnt quite like was the abrupt romance between young joo and jae woo.

As for hae-yi's biological mum, it's quite obvious her appearance is to ultimately show how close hae-yi is to heng seon. I'm pretty sure hae-yi ain't gonna follow her real mum in the end. It's quite obvious she's just saying it because either 1) she wants to get rid of her bio mum from disturbing her family 2) she's trying to trick her bio mum into leaving.

I'm also a bit perplexed by the comments saying everyone should just ask her bio mum to leave. I mean, no offence but how old are you guys? The only ones who have a right to ask her to leave is 1) hae-yi herself and 2) haeng seon. Heck I would even go as far as say even haeng seon, no matter how much she hates her sister , at the end of the day doesn't have the right to ask hae yi's bio mum to just leave, even if she wanted too (we can see she obviously isn't pleased with her sudden appearance ). We are talking about someone's bio mum. We are not talking about classmates or friends. Wow. Just ask her to leave? Really? And who's gonna do that? Abandoned or not, it's not something so simple in real life. Why do you think people spend so much money on advertisement in real life just to find their biological parents? Some even appearing on talk shows and stuffs for it? Hae yi mentioned a few episodes back that she wanted to at least ask her bio mum why she was abandoned it she had the chance. We all know hae yi is soft spoken and all bottled up by nature so it's no surprise she hasn't directly lashed out to her bio mum. Why jump the gun when the story hasn't ended? I reserve my comments on this story until ep 16 has ended, at least.

As for the infamous Mr Ji. I really am not surprised at all at his suicide. In fact i pretty much expected it to be one of his endings. Yeah maybe he didn't get punished per se but judging by his craziness (I mean he did murdered his Mum), obviously he would rather die than to get caught. My only gripe is more of the fact that the missing student is still unaccounted for. In fact I'm glad the warped up the murder mystery this episode because this leaves some time for the nam family's closing story together with our beloved teacher (of course).

U should watch her in beyond evil. Amazing drama. It was named best drama and the ML won best actor in baeksang for it. She has a few indie movies so it's quite hard to get her works.

Well , the ratings in SK have increased tremendously since the last few episodes. the writing in the last 2 episodes is definitely better compared to 5-6 episodes back, when they really fumbled the plot. Im glad they are tackling the mystery side of the story head on. I almost thought they will totally forget about it LOL.

i still can't understand the complaints about this whole "this is a romantic comedy not murder mystery show" thingy. Like hello? The show literally starts off with the death of a student, in the very first episode, in the very first scene. I can't be the only one who watch the first few minutes of the first episode, right? i mean if you don't like mystery, you should have dropped it after watching the first five minutes. if they ignore the mystery part and turn it into a 100% romantic comedy, then there will be a major plothole (granted theres still the missing female stalker/student but i think this can be easily explained, if they remember about it, in the last 2 episodes).

I think the acting by the main casts are really good. i especially like the acting by the students. So often we see in dramas (be in jdramas or kdramas) where the students are especially nasty and whenever there's scandals involving their classmates, the students turn their backs on each other. this is one rare drama where hae-yi's classmates (at least most of them) are non-judgmental and pretty supportive. i give them a big plus for this.

it's also nice seeing them tackling the issue of exam stress. we know how a lot of people often dismiss this as a non-issue. we all know the "studying is nothing. wait till you are working" statement by a lot of parents, teachers (adults), don't we.

anyway i hope the actors and actresses playing the students get more roles in the future. i think they really did well. (my favourite hae-yi especially LOL).

Admittedly there were some bad writings earlier on but the murder mystery has always been there so I'm not sure what's the issue. They will have to touch on it sooner or later and this is the best time. Do people really expect a full 16 episodes drama to be all laughter? I don't think such a show can work. Even Mr. Queen didn't have all 20 episodes of all funny and laughter.

Beautiful story, beautiful movie. Arimura Kasumi is simply stunning! And do you know what's best about this movie?…
Kasumi is as amazing as ever! I didn't even realise it's a hiyokko reunion of sorts between kasumi and sakuma yui. A warm and beautiful movie indeed.

It's because he felt guilty for breaking up with his fiancee and at the same time, yae couldn't remember him. I felt that it's sort of an atonement for him. I actually think that makes more sense then if he went straight back to her.

Ep.9 is really good in so far as hae-yis story is concerned. I really love hae-yi/yoon seo. For once the school kids are being supportive and not bullies. That's something really nice to see. Gotta give it up to geon hoo for being so bold. I suppose I can understand why soon jae doesnt dare to confess his feelings. He has known her for such a long time after all. If he gets rejected, it will definitely be awkward compared to geon hoo who's relatively new in the picture. However , I do have major issues with chi yeol staying back at the same academy whom so easily discarded him in the previous episode.

Yeah so the boss was the one who recognised his talent, I get that but hasn't he already paid his dues by generating tons of money and publicity for the academy? Yet he feels he still owes the chap something ? Not to mention hae yi's mum suggesting he should stay. Like For Real? This is the very academy that kicked her daughter out by simply changing the rules, resulting in her beloved daughter having to study all on her own, the same academy that she begged them to take her in but they refuse, humiliated her by publishing her story and yet the best she can do is to give them the yellow card? What bullshit.

No offence but I'm totally with the assistant on this when he got upset with hae seong for convincing chi yeol to continue in the academy.

The issue I have with this show is one moment , the story is amazing. Another moment, it's totally bullshit.

MDL has a toxic environment towards older women in general. Dramas with women in their 40s get a lot of unfounded…
Fr. Just look at the comments towards park min young for example. It's like if a woman in her 40s look pretty , then she must have had plastic surgery. If she looks old, then she shouldn't be acting. Either way, the actress will get bashed. It's seriously brainless.

Hae-Yi is definitely the MVP of episode 10, maybe she even save Mr.Popular's life without known it hahaha
I love roh yoon seo and her acting. Hard to believe she's still just a rookie. She was so good in our blues and 20th century girl and shes nailing her role here as well.

You ain't the only one. Episode 9 has a lot of bad scriprwritings written all over it. How can someone as established , rich, and successful as ML just give up and go into hiding over some defamatory posts? Seriously lame. Even if he couldn't sue on his own, he could easily get FL to sue and with his money, he can easily finance her lawsuit. They really lost the plot there.

You don't need to mention names to get sued for defamation. As long as it can be proven that the defamatory statements sufficiently refer to the plaintiff, the defendant can be held liable. Based on the show, everyone in the neighbourhood knows the statements refers to FL and ML simply because not a single customer visited FL's shop after the article was posted online and ML was asked point blank during the talk show. Either one of them could have sued. Even if chi yeol couldn't sue, he could easily financed FL for her to sue. He did neither. He just hid himself.

Yes it's bad scriptwriting. Anyone with as much money and influence as chi yeol would have sued the evil mum immediately. I don't even get why chi yeol needed to wait until the talk show to "confess". So he rather allow hae yi and her mum to suffer while he laid low and all of a sudden decide to make a confession based on a question by a viewer in a talk show? Like for real ? It makes no sense. The show has been great but today's episode just makes no sense.
