Lol i Brought this issue up very early on. To my disbelief, some people were saying that do joon's mum will not accept money from strangers. Like LoL? Do joon is her customer who has been to her shop for a couple of times. Not to mention if you are so poor, desperate with two kids to feed and someone kind enough comes along offering you money for free, you telling me you would rather kill yourself and leave your children alone simply because you "won't accept money from strangers"? My god this type of logic is godlike funny LoL. Makes you really wonder what's the age of some of the commentators here.

He then feeds this info to hwa Young repeatedly by virtue of him/mason oh being a shareholder telling her the prices will definitely go up, which is due to a host of stock manipulators, an info which is not public at the time. Hwa Young then buys the shares which indeed went up.

Even if he is not caught by the first head, he is caught by the second, since he knew about the stock manipulators driving the price up yet he fed that info to hwa Young. These are nonpublic material info that can only be obtained by an insider to the company, i.e miracle.

You are applying a real world logic to a fantasy show hence the one spouting nonsense is you. Let me ask you this question. Can anyone in the real world foresee the future? NO. However do joon DOES have INSIDE INFORMATION? It's because he ALREADY KNEW all the inside information by virtue of his knowledge of the future. Is that really so difficult to understand? You are assuming that do joon is a normal human in a normal world when he is NOT. If i knew that tomorrow, CNN would be sold because i am from the future where CNN has been sold, my knowledge constitutes INSIDE INFORMATION. My god why am I explaining fiction to someone who doesn't understand that Do Joon happens to be in a FICTIONAL. WORLD WHERE HE POSSESSESS KNOWLEDGE OF THE FREAKING FUTURE.

"access to the otherwise non public information" = how else would do joon be able to know which stock would rise or fall unless he has such info? The info he obtained from the future may be public in HIS ORIGINAL TIME LINE but it is STILL NON PUBLIC IN THE PAST. Hence he clearly has ACCESS TO OTHERWISE NON PUBLIC INFORMATION that you clearly spelt out yourself.

Let's take a hypothetical situation : do joon gets caught and charged in court. The prosecutor questions him as to HOW DID HE OBTAIN those informations that enable him to conduct all those trading. What is he going to answer in court? "oh im so goddamn lucky that i made millions at the age of 17-18 by predicting the future / oh im from the future so i know whats going to happen/ well, im just lucky". Yeah good luck explaining that to any judge in any developed country.

While we are at this point, let me add another issue with ML. ML knew for a fact that the sale of soon yang card to Dong Ki would cause the general public to be addicted to borrowing and fall into a huge credit trap thanks to his knowledge of the future yet purely because of his quest for revenge, he sold soon yang card anyway, totally disregarding the tragedy that might befall tens of thousands of people due to excessive borrowing and spending. Yet he is still "the innocent goody two shoes who can do no wrong"? LOL the obsessed one is you, not me lol.

I think the problem is she is still a junior and hence, it's not really her call whether to delay things or not. If you can recall, during the earlier episodes, she tried to investigate soon yang but was stonewalled a couple of times by her superior. It's pretty obvious her hands are tied. I wonder if all these people even watched the show properly. She was literally forced by her superior to investigate do joon even after she protested against her superior at the entrance of the lift. Somehow all these critics just conveniently forgot about that scene and kept harping that she intentionally targeted him. Like wtf. Lol

Lol? He literally already knows the future hence he doesn't need to obtain the info from anyone else. Of course i know what's insider trading lol. The question is do you know that you are watching a fantasy show? Hence i clearly explained that to the people in his world, he actually committed insider trading because otherwise, there is absolutely no way he could have known about which stocks will fall or rise. You gotta' learn to understand what i wrote before making assumptions. Not to mention your accusation that I don't like the show and want to badmouth the ML is literally something you picked from the sky. So if i think the ML is a bad guy, it means i hate him and i hate the show? What the hell logic is that? Nobody in his world knows that he is from the future hence there is no way to prove that he knew about future stuffs. That is what we as viewers know. Can't say it better myself. Funny how some people expects her to just cater to do joon's whims and fancy even if he is breaking the law. Dojoon committed insider trading which is a crime and they expect a prosecutor to let him off just because he's her lover and he was wronged previously? really LoL. Then how about those poor shareholders who lost their money due to do joon's insider trading? Are they not victims too? Insider trading is literally a crime in every developed country but no, our hero can commit crimes as long as he gets his revenge. Never mind if the victims of his insider trading commits suicide just like his mum because you know, he was wronged and every "good guy" should support him. Sometimes you wonder how mature are some of the commentators here. Im glad SK viewers are more mature as can be evidenced by the high ranking SHB is getting in the weekly brand reputation ranking.

Spot on. My sentiments as well. Too much pointless criticisms of FL by people who doesnt understand the story. Sad thing is i don't blame them at times because the story is everywhere at the moment. Sorry to say this but i certainly dont think this show deserves a better rating than a masterpiece like world of the married and i will be disappointed if the ratings end up higher than twotm simply becauze of grandpa's acting. The plot in the last few episodes is really disappointing. It's like the writers wanted to be a little smarter by adding and changing stuffs in the original story but ended up doing to much instead.

Still, he/she claiming that the cleaner in the elevator has more screen effect compared to shin hyun-been's character is not only utterly ridiculous, it shows some unexplained extreme hatred. Even if i hate a character in a show, i won't go to the extreme of bashing the character in almost every single comment especially when the parent comment doesn't even concern the said character. I've read his/her comments and for some reason, he/she keeps bringing up min-young almost everywhere lol. If it's not obsession, i don't know what it is. LoL

He's not even close to finding out who used and killed him. Can't blame him for that since he's in the past but his main aim should then be his grandpa and everyone else in the family except his current immediate family. He could have easily finished them off by exposing grandma but no, let's try to save grandpa whom actually caused his mom's death.

Btw, i dont know what shin hyun been did to you in the past but your hatred and obsession with her is frightening. You literally mentioned your hate for her in every single comment. It's just a drama. Snap out of it.

This show is being carried by Lee Sung Min. The story itself is a mess and some parts doesn't make sense, expecially the revenge part. At this point, i dont even know what is Do Jun's main aim/motivation anymore. Grandpa caused his mum's death directly or indirectly but he seems to have totally forgotten about it. Let's not even talk about his own "death". In fact, was he even dead in the first place in the future? I hope they will be able to explain it in the few remaining episodes.

Totally forgot she was in beyond evil. That was an amazing and totally underrated drama.

You do know that she was previously merely a normal college student whom unlike dojoon, has no knowledge of the future? She doesn't even know about dojoon's revenge crusade so what do you expect her to do? I dont think its bad writing at all. It's just part of the story and it's believable. It's do joon's revenge story, not some romance drama. Had they given her too mucn screen time earlier on, 16 episodes wouldn't be enough to wrap things up.

Some of the criticisms against her are downright dumb and nothing more than sexism masquerading as legitimate opinion.

They expect a newbie prosecutor to just bulldoze her way against one of the most powerful corporation in the country with massive influence and who even has the mayor of seoul in their pocket? Utterly ridiculous.

Makes me wonder how mature are some of the commentators here. Furthermore sometimes you dont know what they actually want. When there's less romance, they complain the FL is useless. When there's a good bit of romance, they complain that it's not a love story. Lol.

the problem with these kind of revenge drama is that to make it decent, normally there are 2 routes. you either focus on just a few characters or you focus on multiple new characters but only for a couple of episodes. for e.g in military prosecutor doberman or even itaewon class, you pretty much knows who is the big bad so its easy to follow. so even if you have side story, you know who is the big bad.

Othewise, they should just cut short the episodes. 16 episodes for these kind of revenge drama honestly feels too long unless you have something extra every episode. this is where dramas like the world of the married excelled because they have very limited characters but a very good storyline.

the problem here is that not only do we not know who is the big bad, we have sooooo freaking many characters, each having so much screentime that you have no idea where the story is heading. Sadly though, for some reason (maybe it's because they are following the original webtoon, i ain't sure), the FL becomes merely a side character dues to the sheer number of other characters in the show.

it's still fun to watch to a certain extent but it's not as thrilling as when it first started. it seems like do jun isn't even bothered to find out who killed him anymore. he just wants to buy soonyang for whatever unknown reason. he even forsake his mom just to save up his money to buy soonyang for god knows why.

Yeah. Those who said he can't help co he needed money for revenge or his mum wouldn't accept help from strangers make no sense coz if that's the case, why would he even have brought the building where the shop is located as a gift for his parents ? It's really bad writing tbh. As much as soonyang is to be blamed, ML actually screwed up big time. Don't even start on the "he couldn't have known etc etc" coz he's way too smart for that excuse.

This is spot on. I couldn't sympathize with him for his mom's death for this exact reason. I was wondering the exact same thing. He knew his mum was struggling when he saw the mails in the shop demanding for monies yet he did nothing at all.

He knew they were in dire straits early on. He saw those letters in the mail at the store demanding money.

Well I do agree the fiancee was treated rather shabbily .however I suppose the saving grace is namiki didn't immediately end up with yae after breaking up with his fiancee. Instead he left the country and yae was the one who found him in the end. Of course it doesn't justify him kissing her whilst he was still with his fiancee (that's cheating) . However the soundtrack is just so awesome ( it's hikki after all) so I'm kind of conflicted about the story too. Somehow this reminds me alot of majo no jouken, another drama which uses first love as the main theme song (though the premise is different).
