I'm just waiting for the part where mr.choi will utter the "are you gonna arrest me" words. So r the parents gonna get rid of him just Becoz he's teaching someone who's not in the academy? Wasn't the whole purpose of them sending their kids to the academy is so that they could be taught by mr.choi? Lol. I hope it plays out as per my expectations next episode.
Points No .1 and 2 may not be illegal but they can be sued for misrepresentation. In this case there's obvious misrepresentation when they change the rules without informing the parents beforehand. They misrepresented about their business I.e the entrance requirement for the classes which in turn caused hae yi to rely on it and to enroll with them, paying money when they subsequently changed the rules without informing beforehand .There's clear loss so they can be easily sued.
As for the PI, if you get caught taking photos of someone without their consent or recording them on video , you can be sued for harassment or breaching someone's privacy. I believe this is also a criminal offence especially the breach of personal data. I think the article you cited clearly explained this.
This is such a fun show with sufficient balance of comedy, romance and mystery all in one. The acting by the casts are also spot on. Such a great drama.
I just realized the actress playing hae-yi also acted in 21st century girl as young bo-ra's best friend. She also appeared in our blues. She's really talented and I hope she gets more roles in the future . Really excited to see more of her.
Guess I'm late to the party. The ratings really jumped quite significantly though I haven't watched it yet. Gonna give it a try. Hard to find good comedy drama nowdays. Jeon Do Yeon is one of the most critically acclaimed actress in SK though I haven't watched too many of her shows.
Since there is so much bitterness and anger over the crappy storyline and ending, let me try to make your day better with these amazing insights.
1. Oppa got shot in the end, fell from a cliff but was somehow rescued by ex-gf (yes, ex because she's his past gf, albeit in another body) with no scars to his head/face, not even a single bandage/plaster to his head, no broken bones etc.
2. Oppa's "back to the past" experience gave him a new "invulnerability" superpower allowing him to survive what happened in 1 above.
3. Soonyang automatically removes all bad impression/knowledge/memory their workers have of the company once they enter the company. This explains why Oppa somehow lost his memory about DJ's murder after entering Soon yang . The forgotten memory will resurface once the workers are terminated either legally or illegally.
4. Korean prosecutors are required to forgive and forget what murder accomplices have done to their friends / loved ones if the murder accomplice decides to testify in favour of the prosecution. This explains why min young is so forgiving of Hyun woo.
5. Main characters must always be handsome/ smart looking at all times, even after a major accident/ incident. Secondary characters on the other hand must look like crap after such accident/incidents. Hence why old man gramps and DJ looked awesome with no scratches whatsoever after their accidents (maybe just a cut with a plaster) whilst poor old bodyguard ended up with alcohol addiction and shitty looks.
6. Crime pays if you are the big bad. you gain invulnerability. Grandma lives happily ever after overseas despite attempting to murder gramps whilst dong Ki dies peacefully in his sleep. Hyun woo walks free even when he's an accomplice to a murder and even goes on to become a multi millionaire after buying soon yang.
7. Last but not least, always blame the female lead to escape from shitty storylines. Have a nice day peeps.
PS: just in case someone ask this question : "why did DJ died in the crash since he's effectively the big bad? he should escape unscathed right?" - Well the very moment DJ met HW, he effectively lost his big bad title to HW. hence HW is the new big bad and therefore, DJ lost his invulnerability too. same happened to gramps and DK. (by the way, doesn't DK also stand for donkey kong, the old video game character? LOL. donkey kong/ dong ki. sounds similar)
The ending was good. Am a shocked that y’all didn’t like it
it's because it doesn't make sense. so you witnessed a murder, which you were unfortunately an accessory to, although indirectly, and which you had the presence of mind to actually make a phone conversation recording with the main culprit, yet you suddenly forgot about it for a good 10 over years? with no explanation whatsoever? does that make any sense at all? did he have dementia? no. did he suffer serious injuries to his head right after he witnessed the murder? no. so why did he conveniently forgot about it? LOL. that's a super duper mega sized plothole. he needed to travel back in time to remember something which god knows how he forgot in the first place. LOL
It was about Jin Do Joon being reborn as Yoon Hyun Woo and becoming rich!1. Yoon Hyun Woo did not die, he was…
actually the lazy writing was pretty much evident from early on and i've pointed it out previously but you know, you can't say bad things about this show here unless you are bashing the female lead coz' some fanatics will take criticisms towards the show as criticisms towards SJK. the lazy writing literally started when JDJ became buddy buddy with Grandpa (who caused his /Hyun woo's mother's death) instead of getting his revenge and everything else went downhill storyline-wise afterwards. the only saving grace is the good acting by the casts.
It was about Jin Do Joon being reborn as Yoon Hyun Woo and becoming rich!1. Yoon Hyun Woo did not die, he was…
Well I wanted to say that you are stretching it a bit too much but then again, with how the whole storyline being so shitty, i can't really blame you. Lol. Anyway the show was fun at times and I actually did like the FL so at least it brought me to her other works lol.
It was about Jin Do Joon being reborn as Yoon Hyun Woo and becoming rich!1. Yoon Hyun Woo did not die, he was…
Unfortunately there is a major problem with your theory. JDJ founded miracle as well as accomplished all his other exploits thanks to his knowledge of the future. Without his knowledge of the future, he would never have been able to achieve what he did. Hence if the "back to the past" thing didn't happen, the whole "do joon died" storyline wouldn't have occurred either. Nor would min young's engagement with him happened. It's a good try nonetheless.
Lol it's exactly as i predicted - a terrible last episode which makes 0 sense whatsoever. Like I've said before , this show was carried by grandpa's acting and that's it. The storyline is crap. Yet some people accused me of being song Joong Ki's hater rofl. It's more like SJK's die hard fans are so enamoured with him that they failed to realize the story has so many plotholes from early on. I had seen this coming. So many major issues were glossed over and the writers just rushed everything. Blame was conveniently placed on the female lead when the story itself was crap in the first place. I don't know what are the ratings for the last episode but if it surpasses the world of the married, it will be the most underserved ratings ever. This show can't even hold a candle to the world of the married thanks to its terrible storyline. Even with the flaws in TWOTM, at least the storyline made absolute sense. Not here.
PS: the writers should take lessons from the creators of the taiwanese time travel masterpiece "someday or one day" on how to write a gripping time-travel drama.
I think, hyeon woo , would be rather saving doo jun and there might be some kind of misunderstanding . Hyeon woo…
that would be a major disappointment too because imagine getting your hopes up for something drastic just to realise that actually, it's nothing. viewers will be like "WTF wat that for?". this scene came a bit too late IMO. they should have done this during the previous episode if they wanted to pull this kind of stunt.
what's with that ending? that certainly appeared out of nowhere. so are they going to spend the entire episode 16 explaining why hyun woo did what he did? even if HW hated soonyang, why wait until now to target do joon of all people? this show just doesn't deserve to break The world of the married's record and i really hope it doesn't. Unlike TWOTM. here the storyline is terribly written. the only thing holding up the show is the acting.
Even tho I mostly enjoy RR, IMO it doesn't come any close to The World of the Married.. but with it's popularity…
I hope it doesn't surpass twotm. This show just doesn't deserve it. A show carried solely by the acting of a couple of actors can't be compared to twotm which not only has amazing acting but a solid storyline as well.
First, you assume he knew about the mother's investment into Soonyang, which he didn't. All he knew was that his…
yeah he needed the funds but he still managed to buy off the building eventually (although he was apparently too late) which meant that he was more than capable of helping in the first place.
Lol i Brought this issue up very early on. To my disbelief, some people were saying that do joon's mum will not…
Yes i will, especially if I know that the lives of my 2 kids whom i love depends on it. You think i rather kill myself and leave my 2 kids to my poor husband/wife to take care all on his/her own instead? LOL? are you for real? the length people will go just to defend a ridiculous storyline in their favourite drama / show acted by their favourite celebrities is quite astounding. not to mention the argument that they probably won't accept do jun's help anyway makes no sense because do jun did buy off the building that his mum was operating her shop in, albeit too late. that means he was more than capable of helping early on (especially since he's a multi millionaire). you mean the family won't accept money from strangers but will accept a building instead? LOL. don't even start with "he didn't buy the building for her" because he did as he was on the way to hand over the title to her went he discovered she was dead. LOL
As for the PI, its too early to draw any conclusions I suppose , since no one really knows about it yet.
