Lol y would I hate someone I didn't even knew existed before this drama ? Lol at least I don't praise lousy acting just because I'm a fan. Any unbiased viewer will agree that jisoo's character literally only does 2 thing the whole show i.e crying + looking sad. Even her smile seems so forced and unnatural in the show.
That last episode was a microcosm of everything that went wrong with this show. The leads had superficial dialogue…
Absolutely agreed. I felt like the real romance was between Dr Kang and Soo Ho. They have a History, reuniting and a heartbreaking parting. On the other hand, there's almost zero chemistry between Soo Ho and young ro. She was practically either 1) crying or 2) having a sad look on her face all the time. There's like no development on her romance with soo ho except for that 1 kiss. Heck when Soo Ho died in front of her, I actually felt more sorry for Dr Kang than for young ro. U can see that Soo Ho was so reluctant to return to the dorm and actually wanted to leave with Dr Kang but he had no choice since all the student would have been killed otherwise.
This drama didn't end correctly. They didn't show what happened at the end, the ML died okay, but what about the…
Yes Soo Ho was so much better with Dr Kang. In fact their final parting scene was more touching than him dying in front of young ro. I just couldn't feel the chemistry between young ro and Soo Ho coz they have literally zero history. Dr Kang and Soo Ho however actually have a decent backstory.
I got a better analogy that describes how the writers came up with this show. It's almost like they watched money…
More like it's a flop because Jisoo was cast. She started decent but then was reduced to a crying flowerpot. Almost all the supporting actors and actresses outperformed her, even those with much lesser screen time. lol
I actually feel Moran hill's parting scene with soo ho is sadder than him dying in front on young ro, not to mention the better soundtrack. Yoo in na's chemistry with Jung Hae in is really up there.
Well at least cheong ya lived to the end. I'm happy with that. The strength of the senior actors like hae in, yoo in na and Yoon se ah really carried the show through all the repeated plotlines. It's funny coz the beginning and the ending were pretty well done. Honestly this could have been a short 6 episodes drama and it would have had much better ratings.
Honestly they should have named this show "The Dorm" or "trapped in a dorm" or "escape from the Dorm". The show has literally zero relation to the Title whatsoever. 13 episodes and they are still PLANNING how to escape from the Dorm. Like for real ? Not to mention it's 1 hour and 30 minutes per episode which effectively makes this a 24 episode show if we consider the average Kdrama to be a 1 hour show. The screenwriter should really take a cue from "Happiness" on how to write a good "trapped" drama and reduce the length of the episodes.
13 episodes in, meaning +13 hours of show and I can only say this is poorly written. The plot walks around circles…
Totally agreed. Such a disappointment. I feel sad that yoo in na got stuck trying to carry this drama with Jung Hae in despite the terribly storyline. This could have been over in 10 episodes. 13 episodes and they are still stuck in the goddamn dorm doing nothing. It's like they have been planning their escape for 13 episodes...and will still be planning for another 100 episodes.
The female lead is totally useless and unnecessary . She reminds me of the FL in K2. The drama can go ahead without…
I actually agree with you. It seems like they keep repeating the same cycle over and over again. I feel like I've been watching the show in a loop. The moment they had some momentum going, all of a sudden they repeat the same storyline all over again. If it's not because of yoo in na I would most likely have dropped this show. I feel like the screenwriter doesn't actually have much to tell. This should have been a 10 or 11 episode show rather than 16.
What is your opinion on Soo Ho been forgiven? Why he should not have been forgiven?
Honestly the moment that scene was shown, I knew the romance angle is going to be super problematic because logically speaking, there's no way any sane person would forgive someone they have a crush on for holding a gun to their head that easily. No freaking way. Not to mention Soo Ho was pretty rough and abusive to young ro early on during the hostage situation as well so this kiss development just doesn't make sense whatsoever. Yes it looks sweet but it just doesn't gel with the story.

I totally agree with you. It makes zero sense that she could have forgiven him so easily over a cup of coffee. Like for real? He didn't even apologise. All he mentioned was that he wanted to remove the memory of him holding a gun to her head .no justification, no apology, nothing and he's forgiven? Add to that is the fact that he literally used her as a human shield multiple times including when he forced her to stand at the window. All of a sudden after 1 paper plane and a cup of coffee, everything is forgiven ? Ya rite.. that ain't happening in real life no way unless the girl's an idiot. Young ro definitely wasn't written to be an idiot. To me it seems that the writer screwed up big time when she was taken hostage and had a gun pointed to her head early on. They could have salvaged the whole situation there and then by 1) getting Soo Ho to switch hostage early on or 2) getting Soo Ho to whisper something into her ears telling her to play along with the hostage situation but to my surprise, they did neither.
