....I don't think u get my comment. I'm not stating about what HD wants to be in the drama storyline. I'm stating that the storyline is not actually inspiring even though it attempts to do so simply because the actual underdog here is yu rim and not HD but unfortunately, yu rim isn't the main lead.

I'm specifically comparing yu rim and hee do so I frankly don't care about her other teammates because they are irrelevant to the story. Asking for help from the coach doesn't make her more hard-working. It's just a part of training. I'm sure yu rim would have done the same early in her career because you don't become a national champion overnight. Sorry to say I just don't find hee do's story inspiring enough. Hee do has so much free time to train that she can run around having fun whilst yu rim has to help out at her mother's shop whenever she's free yet she still managed to achieve so much at such a young age. I don't see how I can be inspired by hee do compared to yu rim. The show has a decent story but I think that at this stage, the 2nd female lead's story is just way better than the main lead.

Fyi she did not even get into yu rim's school on merits. She only won one kid fencing competition and was a failure until her Mum pulled some major strings to get her into yu rim's school..heck even the coach gave her preferential treatment because she knew her mother. Yu rim on the other hand won without any such preferential treatments (or at least it's not stated nor shown in the drama) and she was already a national icon and an international gold medallist. So I don't know what you mean by hee do taking fencing more seriously than yu rim. You think you can actually win a gold medal in an international competition if you are not taking the sports seriously? Lol what a joke . By the way, it's normal for people to root for the underdogs and it's always more inspirational when someone with a tough / poor / difficult background manages to achieve something big as compared to those who were born with a silver spoon in the mouth. Of course nobody's forcing you to root for the underdog but you can't deny the fact that the greatest sporting success stories almost always involved underdogs.
On Twenty Five Twenty One Feb 26, 2022
I actually find ko yu rim's story more interesting and inspiring than the main leads. Hee do has plenty going for her (a rich/decently well off and influential mum that pulled strings to get her into yu rim's school fencing team). Yeah she's talented and decently hard working but she practically got preferential treatment from the coach. I can fully understand why ko yu rim dislikes hee do. I mean who wouldn't when she didn't actually got into yu rim's school fencing team on merits. Ko yu rim is almost the total opposite. Of course bona being a cutie helps too.

It's always women who are hated unfortunately. Did you check the YouTube of The Swoon? Haters are at it again.…
No offence but I won't exactly called snowdrop as a "being loved" drama. Snowdrop's ratings are pretty bad considering the amount of hype surrounding it. Even its highest rating is lower than ep.1 of this drama. Haters are everywhere unfortunately.

And some people were still complaining that it's always the same office settings. PMY's character here is so different…
Yeah I totally agree with your comment. It's spot-on.

I think those who are complaining probably only watched secretary Kim since that's her arguably most popular drama rating-wise for private network. I mean that's where I found out about PMY as well. However if people actually bothered to search for her dramas they will see that she's one of the most versatile actresses around and definitely one of the best. I also think that the plot can definitely be developed into something very interesting. The hailstorm was actually quite Interesting. I won't be surprised if there's gonna be a major weather catastrophe happening in the upcoming episodes and I think the hailstorm is the teaser to that so it may not just be an "office romance" sort of story. Keeping my fingers crossed.
On Forecasting Love and Weather Feb 14, 2022
Park min young never disappoints in her dramas. I mean she's done action (city hunter), comedy, romance, period dramas etc so this one night stand story is a good variation even if it's still an office setting. The 2nd episode is really a huge improvement from the 1st and they certainly up the ante. Hopefully the ratings will increase even higher for the upcoming episodes.

can anyone answer me how high the rating must be in cable channels like jTBC to be concidered a HIT?
This is a later time slot compared to 25-21 so the rating is always going to be lower.

More like it's a flop because Jisoo was cast. She started decent but then was reduced to a crying flowerpot. Almost…
Lol the only reason why the drama was mentioned in international news is because of the history whitewashing controversy . Had it not been for the controversy, this drama wouldn't even have half the popularity it has now lol

Dude nobody cares about tik tok Twitter or naver or whatever not. Seems like you cant accept the fact that the only thing that matters for movies and dramas are viewers lol. I've already mentioned this but for some funny reasons you insist that I counter your statement on tik tok or Twitter or whatever not which is totally irrelevant in so far as drama viewers are concerned lol. Label me a hater all you want coz frankly I don't care . I just find it hilarious that diehard fans like you refuse to accept the reality that this drama flopped badly despite the presence of the so-called "world famous" Jisoo lol.

3.9 on jbtc is a flop fyi. It doesnt matter if it's jbtc being a cable channel. World of the married has a rating of 28 at its peak. Even yoo in na's the spies who loved me hit 3.7 for it's premier with a way lesser known male lead in Eric. Lol

You do know that the only statistics that matters for a drama or movie is the number of viewers right ? Nobody cares if you have a billion tweets if your drama/movie has zero viewers. Lol. Jisoo can have a billion followers for all I care but I wonder why her drama isn't getting the support from her own "followers" lol.

It would be a cool movie, but frankly it's tooooooo draggy, even when i watched it in 2x speed and skipping way…
Yeah. not to mention Some blind fans just can't accept the fact that their favourite performed badly. I was one of the earliest commentators here who was vehemently against any cancellations / boycotts and I even praised jisoo's acting in the first few episodes yet some blind fans thinks that I'm a hater lol. Yes Jisoo started out decently but by the 4th episode onwards she just turned into a non factor and her character was outshone by almost every other supporting characters..I can easily name a few - Dr Kang, Ms pi, boon ok , hell even nam tae il and Kang moo were more interesting than young ro. Unfortunately it's difficult for supporting characters to save a show simply due to their lack of screen time. Just look at the low ratings. The ratings speak for themselves. Btw yoo in na is one of my top 3 favourite Korean actress so there's no reason for me to diss this show. In fact I hoped so much that it would succeed but unfortunately, the talents of the senior actors/actresses were wasted. Terrible writing and too much screentime for an inexperienced actress undoubtedly contributed to it. Even if you want to disregard the brilliant acting by the Supporting actors/actresses, you can't deny that Jung Hae in was carrying half of the show by himself. He honestly deserves an awards simply for carrying the show. Not to mention it says a lot when your male lead has more chemistry with the supporting female character rather than the lead female.

Lol fyi I'm not a Korean so I am considered an international fan and let me tell you this, this show never needed Jisoo to attract international fans..yoo in na was already well known internationally thanks to the phenomenal popularity of goblin. In fact a lot of international fans agree that her pairing with Lee dong work in goblin actually outshone that of Kim go Eun and gong yoo (who are both superb actors too). Jung Hae in isn't a nobody too. Anyone who has co starred as main lead will son ye Jin will be known internationallly to a certain extent.
So perhaps you can stop acting as though the rest of the casts are unknown internationally compared to Jisoo lol. Jeez i guess the saying that you can never win against diehard fans is true.

Average ratings of 2% isn't exactly the definition of "doing well". It was even in the 1% range for 3 episodes despite the massive publicity and popularity of the leads. Lol

"I feel like this would have been a flop if it weren't for Jisoo being casted a role here." - this here is literally dissing every other actors in the show and acting as though Jisoo saved this drama when it's the total opposite. You on the other hand just labelled anyone who thinks Jisoo's acting sucks to be a hater. No doubt the story sucks in the middle but a good actor will perform well even if their character sucks. Dr Kang, boon ok and even Ms pi has way less screentime than Jisoo but if u read around, plenty of viewers will agree that the 3 actresses who portrayed those 3 characters perform extremely well despite the terrible script. I can't say the same for Jisoo.
