I really hope so!! So far I love the director and script writer! They develop the story and characters so well that get us all so invested into the drama like these pp living inside our tvs are real life characters. Amazing work! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I really hope the rest of the drama will do itself justice to maintain its superb story telling so far! Every character in the show so far has been developed very well and consistently especially LBY and CSS so much so us viewers are able to put ourselves into their shoes and put on the respective thinking cap to analysis situations etc (hence the voluminous discussion here!) I hope the production team can maintain this stellar standard all the way especially in resolving the misunderstanding and conflict between LBY and CSS.

……So what really happened was that LBY was blinded by emotion. I think I can accept that better than him calmly weighing the pros and cons of his choices before making the decision to dump CSS. 😓

…..The fact that he regretted it later is also good. I’d die on the spot if he shd say things like, if given a 2nd chance I would still decide to dump CSS. 😓

….If I’m CSS my hardened heart would definitely be soften if I find out LBY didn’t stop loving me and protecting me and even YS all these long years while he was suffering himself! Oh she shd cry buckets on this!

I hope there’s more softener out there to soften CSS because what he did was quite unforgivable and her character is so strong and unyielding. 😓

Omg!! Our poor poor girl!!!! And what’s wrong with that man?!! In your view do you think LBY’s choice is justified? Or perhaps that there is a very very valid reason to choose revenge over CSS that only LBY knew and CSS didn’t?

Oh. That serious a crime…. I actually thought he should be rewarded for solving such a huge crime not just against LBY’s clan but to the Emperor‘s kingdom and citizens! LBY shdnt have taken matters into his own hands like that unless it’s because he could not gather enough evidence to implicate the bad guys or he felt the Emperor is going to let them off light again like he did Marquis Yue. 🤔

Oh I see…..but that’s so terrible of the Emperor….to think that he didn’t want to save that boy he regarded as his own son all these years just because he thought that LBY’s Huo’s nephew and to change his mind when he found out he’s Huo’s son.

Precisely why I don’t want him there. I don’t want anyone to dilute CSS’s love for LBY.

Which brings me to another question…. did CSS know, during those 5 years that LBY really loved her dispite abandoning her? Or did she think like the general public that LBY made use of her to shield his revenge plans. I know CSS can’t be that dumb, but I’m worried LBY might’ve tried to convince her he never ever loved her so that she can get on with life without him! 🫣

Oh. That’s interesting. How did 3P and SS save him? I tot SS tot he died. I saw a scene in the trailers where he fell off a cliff or something right before SS’s eyes.

I think he’s one of those upright loyal supporter of the Emperor. He shot his bro because he knew if 3rd bro gets interrogated by LBY or the Justice Dept, the truth about YueFei’s brother’s evil doings and his involvement in the matter would be uncovered. Hence to protect Yue Fei and the Emperor he silenced his bro.

I think she married her older brother in law. The guy that shot the 3rd Liang bro with an arrow.

Why didn’t she just follow him to where he’s exiled? She was agreeable to that idea in the earlier episodes when Emperor was considering what how to punish LBY for beating up the dads.

Not sure if there will be another war scene but the one you saw with her holding a baby is coming up next week (according to a YouTube video I saw).

If that video is accurate SS is going to take a long time before meeting LBY next week because she’s going to go to a war zone (I’m guessing this is the place where she’d asked the Emperor to allow her to go to find her dad) first, run into some life and death situation before she’s found in a half dead state by LBY in some dungeon. 🫣😨😭
