Just saw the new trailers. I can’t imagine who would dare and have the power to imprison the Cheng family! By now everyone in the city who’ve known about LBY’s crazy revenges on pp who hurt his NN. So it could only be the Emperor who did it but why would he do such a thing? Does anyone know?

Really? I also noticed her hands last night and thought they were so cute milky fair and chubby! It’s the scene where she tries to smooth LBY’s frown. Cutie hands! 🖐🏼

I agree. One of the weaker actors in this drama.

I felt YS’s mum is not so good as well. She can memorise her looong lines well and delivery them flawlessly but somehow something just didn’t work. Maybe I just don’t get her character hence can’t read what she’s doing.

Everyone else in the cast is superb. So natural. So fantastic. Well done cast. 👍🏼👏🏼

Well our girl does have a wild imagination and often her wild guesses and suspicions were proven to be wrong.

Plus there’s always that drama trope possibility where LBY might do something terrible to make her hate him so that after he abandons her she can still move on with life and love someone else. (Side note: there’s a very apt name for this trope but the name escapes me….anyone knows?)

So that’s why I’m soooo dreading that possible scenario that CSS actually thought that way about LBY (as described in my spoiler above) and lived miserably and heartsmashed (1000 x worse than heartbroken!)! 😩🥺

I find him pitiful especially in Ep 40 when CSS in YS’s presence started to subconsciously praise how good LBY is to her and how happy she is with him and then later on the 2 lovebirds publicly displayed their love and concern for each other unabashedly .

To add insult to injury all this public lovey dovey display came right after that awesome superhero cool beyond words dagger throwing stunt to save his damsel in distress rendering YS looking and probably feeling rather weak and useless in comparison.

Poor man. But I never liked him coz he’s too bitchy. Can’t stand bitchy guys.

I just need to know one thing to find courage to continue my LLTG journey…..so if any one can help, pray do! 🙏🏼

I read from various places that during the very tough 5 year separation CSS was bullied and ridiculed by palace maids and the public in general. They mock her for having been

“shamelessly made use of by LBY who only wooed her and pretended to love her in order to use her as a shield or something to pursue his revenge and that is why right after the revenge he dumped her. “

My question is, did CSS think that way too and believe that LBY never ever loved her and was only making use of her?? 🥺🥺

I don’t understand why Wendy is soooo outraged by the Crown Prince meeting his ex at 12 in the AFTERNOON at a courtyard for a chitchat yet he closed both eyes for the longest time (until LBY wanted to give 5 Princess a gift) about 5P having multiple male lovers she brings home late at night!

YS’s mum is a weird lady. In earlier episode when she first appeared she’s like this aloof cold and uncaring mom. Tonight she’s like a completely different lady. Powerful, highly regarded, respected and even a caring mom….who is in love with her husband’s older brother. Gross! 😆

New found respect for Yue Fei! Hail Yue Fei! She shd be the emperor. Wendy can go sell burgers.

I have lost my respect for the Emperor. He’s only good for matchmaking and comedy. He’s indecisive and bias. Poor LBY…. that anger and hurt in his eyes when Wendy let the scumbag off easy…heart wrenching. Even Yue Fei’s expression was so touching…she was mimicking my expression! 🥺 like this!! 🤣

Aren’t we hearing her real voice? Sounds like her to me. Sounds like her in the BTS clips.

I actually didn’t think CSS’s mommy was that bad coz the drama constantly showed us her real thoughts and feelings towards CSS and that is she’s sorry for abandoning her, she had little choice, she’s been keeping tabs on what’s going on and intends to take revenge for her daughter, she sees thru CSS’s acts and mischief so hence doubts her integrity (at first n understandably so) etc.

But I think there’s too much misunderstanding bw the mom n dotter (like the ruler incident) that make viewers sympathise with SS.
