SKAM is pretty good. It was very gritty for when it came out. It, reminded me of the British series 'Skins' just a little bit, not sure why.
I don't think it was ever officially released internationally... (I've looked and didn't see any). However, if you type in SKAM in Google you will find a lot of hits with various places to watch it.
It was remade several times... France, Italy, USA But, I didn't really watch any of those remakes, maybe one day I will get around to them.
Is it seriously a South Korean remake of SKAM? I see all the comments, but nothing in the description indicates this. IF it is then I'll probably wait until/if they make it season 3 to see if they truly are faithful to the original or if they axe the gay storyline completely. My guess is they will only make the first season or maybe the first 2 seasons and then either skip over the gay storyline entirely or simply end it before they get to that storyline.
Mostly because its a new agency, they dont do the promotion properly....and theres no way to watch the uncut (legally)…
Ahhh, I was not even aware there was an uncut version. Let's hope they get their act together soon. I'm far more fond of the main 2 actors in this show than I am of several of the other BL's I've seen lately. (Kind of a glut on the market it seems).
Maybe they should reject those roles. Surely they must be aware of what they are filming while doing it and still…
I don't agree with shipping either.
And I didn't even reference shipping, please read more carefully.
The comment was if actors want to get roles they often have to take the roles they are given, at least until they have enough power to be more selective.

I'm not sure they really have a choice on rejecting projects. If they reject they might not get offered projects at all. It is very competitive in BL now with new actors popping up all the time.
And yeah, their management needs to be the ones to find them better projects while figuring out how to avoid the bad ones without burning their bridges.
They have good chemistry. This show is not terrible. I don't know why it doesn't have more people following it. (Basing this on view counts on YouTube)
OK. So this wasn't perfect, it took some time for me to get into it. There were some problems, but I'd say it's an OK watch. It really helps that there is some good eye candy in it as well.
I know I am late to the party but I just finished first episode. I almost fell in love till it turned into poor…
He didn't just switch his preference. It's revealed later (I think episode 11) that he was into guys since as early as he and his friend Sol were roommates and Sol indicated that it was part of the reason he left and went to South Korea. But, I agree that they made it seem that way...
How old is the adult? because if someone is in high school, they are a child. and conflating legality with morality…
If you are referencing the ages... I don't know if they ever explicitly state their age. The show was aired in October of 2019, but the youngest MAIN actor (Wilson Liu July 8, 1998) would have been 20 or 21 during the shooting and the oldest MAIN actor would have been 29 (Thomas Chang October 22, 1989) (based on MyDramalist's posted birthdays)
The other actors all seem to have been 2 or 3 years older than Wilson Liu.

Do not try to impose your version of morality on other people.
Defining someone as a child simply because they are in school is not logical nor is it legally binding. Legally he was over the age of consent by at least One or two years. Also, the age of the other person does not matter as long as they are also above the age of consent.
There is a reason for age of consent, it implies that is the age at which people CAN give CONSENT to things like that. If it was intended to be '16 or over AND not in school' AND also be approved of by EVERYONE ELSE then they would have written the law that way.
You can disapprove of their relationship sure, but to claim it was immoral is a PROBLEM. That is your interpretation of morality based on your personal beliefs and has no basis in legality or necessarily the morality of other people.
According to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXi0WYwwNBg It's about a swimmer and a nurse who both fall for the same girl? I presume they end up ditching the girl and going for each other...
This is a good series. I see people bringing in their own issues about the age difference, but both of them were of legal age in Japan and also in a lot of other countries. (Jun was a high school senior so 17 or 18) At the time of production Japan's age of consent for males was 14 (raised to 16 in 2023).
All of that aside, that is not the focus of the series. If you are looking for sunshine and flowers BL then watch something else.(I also like those too!)
If you want a more realistic drama with a gay character then this is a good one.

He's never trapped himself in one single ship (which I think is smart)

Sadly, I don't see any new works listed for him.
Did he decide to go back to dental surgery?

Is he not doing anything? Or is it just not getting updated?
