It sounds like a wonderful job you have :). But it must be quite frustrating that you can't produce/direct everything you would want. Especially if a lot depends on contacts/luck/politics. I think I would get irritated by it after a while :D. Sometimes I watch movies and I think 'why the &$"£$"£' did this get money, while there are so much other options.
The story you've written sounds interesting. It is not something I would watch as a series or a long film, but I guess I would give it a try as a short. It is controversial and I wonder how it would be received by the public. I think that in my country their would be a lot of people mad about it (paedophiles are a bit of a sore subject here). It sure will get people to talk about it :). I hope you will get your funding.
I was thinking about what Scandinavian films I've seen. I've seen some Danish, Swedish and Finnish films, but I don't remember watching a movie from Norway. Is there something you would recommend?
Gooddrama is only subbed until episode 9. Someone knows where to find the other episodes with English subs? If I can't finish the drama, it would be a shame to start watching it.
Completed. It was intense! It has 'only' 10 45 min. episodes, but when I finished it felt like I completed a 25 ep series. It is not that the story gets boring. The opposite. A lot is happening and you get to know the characters really well. It felt like I knew the persons better than the characters in a lot of other series. Sometimes I find Japanese dramas a little to short (thinking that there should be 1 or 2 more episodes), but Love Shuffle was really well rounded.
Really.... I still can't wrap my mind around the fact I only watched 10 episodes!

Do you have an idea about the film (long) you want to make in the future? Would you write it yourself, or would you direct it (or both)?
What is his age? Here it says born in 1978. Wikipedia says 1976... but then again: in the box on the right side it says 1977...

In short films I prefer something that makes me think: simple on the first glance, but with a lot of (hidden) layers). It can be light and cute or funny, but it can also be a heavier theme like death (and life). It must be something I can identify myself with. I can accept a lot more sadness from a short film than from a series of normal film.
For example, I really like 'Father and Daughter' ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MgdsfRDxIeQ ).

- Please no memory loss (or maybe for maximum half an episode)
Then I'm happy :P.
And the City Hunter music was a nice surprise.

Was there any romance in it?
