How do you select your shows? Most of the time I try to pick shows with high ratings en read some reviews before I start. But even then I come across a lot of shows which have flaws in them. And sometimes a show with a low rating can be quite good.

What kind of films do you make? I think I read you make short films. What genre are they in?

Psychiatry is fun. I specialized in it this year (nursing). The thesis however.. bleg, I hate this stupid thing. I like school and studying, but I hate exams and writing assignments. And when writing a thesis you are so limited (here at least) you have to keep it as sober as possible = as boring as possible. Oh well, I don't want to talk about this thing any more, only gives me stress, hahaha :D.

And still we keep watching. I'm always wondering why I like Adrama so much, but at the same time criticize it all the time because of its flaws. Things I will forgive in asian series, I would probably hate their western equivalent. I guess they must still do something right.

My thesis is about a subspeciality in the psychiatry. It was a fun subject when I started, but now I can't hear it any more. Bleg! Overload!

Totoro is a name from a famous Studio Ghibli (the studio that made Howl's moving castle, grave of the fireflies, spirited away, ...) --> japanese anime.

I just finished a 24-hour marathon (with a total break time of 30 minutes) on writing my thesis, lol. Well not completely finished, I get another 30 minutes rest and than let my boyfriend finish his spell and grammar check on it.
What a waste of time these things are :P.

Just before that (seems like a few hours ago) I was starting on Queen Seon Duk.

I agree that a lot of dramas could end better. It is not always horrible, but they don't seem to be able to choose the best option. Most of the time they settle for 'okay'.

Maybe its a cultural thing and Koreans think these endings are great?

I choose to interpret the ending as him still living. I don't know if that was my wish. I suppose it is pretty crappy that you leave your life and loved ones with them thinking you are dead.

I do agree a better ending was possible (yes I even would have loved this), but I didn't think it was extremely bad at it is now.

Depends on what you want to see. I completed Eternal Happiness recently. It was quit funny and had a lot of plot twist. But is was a good series, not great.

Min did not arrive, he was already there when Jin had the gun on Doc.
I suppose he was aiming at his arm or something: he knew Doc wanted to kill Min because of what he had done. And he could not approve of this as a cop -even when they are allies and even when he wanted to kill Min himself :D-.

Emotions are bitches, they will totally ruin your reflexes.

There was a big spoiler in my post here, but I could not delete/check the spoiler box anymore, so I removed it and posted it again (above this post).

Oh yeah, my view is definitely different ;).

- Jin has his gun on Doc not on Min (because he is the one holding a weapon when arriving and he screams 'lower you gun' when he comes to the scene).
- Doc was just lowering his gun when Min shot (which is an important moment if you have someone at gunpoint). I think Jin was watching Doc at that moment.

- Doc did not trust Min, but I think he wanted to. In the end he wanted everyone to be happy (even when he said not). When Min sat down and showed sorrow, he lowered his gun and you see him started to cry and being relieved and emotional at the same time. He was also looking down, because of this.

I thought that in Cruel City she was supposed to be in her early-40s. The men kept telling her she was more beautiful than before and that gave me the idea she might have had (fictional) plastic surgery to look younger.
I thought she ended up looking 35 or something (still older).

Thank you for the compliment :D. I love 3-iron! Especially the ninja-like-scenes in jail end the ending scenes. It has some magic that movie :D.

What did you think about Cruel City? How did you like the ending?

The last was from another persons profile where you posted a comment about preferable only adding 18+ people. The ones before I don't know exactly, but I have seen your profile multiple times -at least 2 times before- I'm sure :D.

Found indeed English subs on the link Dantat gave us. However, they stop at episode 39/50. They are not great (sometimes out of sink and missing little parts) but at least you can understand the series. I've read that some people are thinking/trying to make English subs for this series, so hopefully the later episodes will be available with subs too. Would be nice, because I can't find any recaps either :D.

I can only find (part of) episode 1 subbed. It's a shame :(.

Btw: Problems with the myth... only episode 1 is subbed.. darn.

Watched Eternal Happiness in 3 days or so (still doing chores, watching James Bond movies with my bf and sleeping 9 hours a day :P - jeej for vacation). It didn't feel lengthy to me.
