You are really nice, you know ;).

I already watched YWCFTS episode 13. Now I have to wait a week for the next ep!!! Oh agony. It is truly a nice series :D.

Yeah: a lot of American re-makes do suck lol :P. But I think the other way around wouldn't work most of the time either. There is a huge cultural difference. And things I accept in a Korean drama I would never accept in European/American series.

However: a lot of the basic stuff is actually the same. For example: The typical plot of girl meets boy, there is an obstacle that prevents the relationship and in the end they either end up together (or die, lol :P) is very universal.

I think I will watch YWCFTS now :D. I will look into the dramas you are watching now, maybe I try them too ;).

I will see.. maybe I will drop it too.

Boys before flowers (k-version) was really painful to watch. I kept dragging on and on and I was screaming at the screen: girl stop taking all this &$£"$££$¬! The acting wasn't great. But somehow I just couldn't stop watching. It was like seeing a car crash: you know it's horrible, but you just can't stop looking at it.

Boys before friends (american version) is really amateurish, but because it is so bad it somehow became funny and interesting. The production is really below average, but since it is with new actors and new producers and such.. I can understand (but it is still not good). I wonder if they will finish, because they fired the two main actors :P.

I think I will start watching YCFAS. What is your favourite drama at the moment?

I'm not making much progress with bon ami. There are some really interesting (new) European/American series that I did watch (dracula, the witches of east end, white collar, ...). It is not uncommon for me to have a hiatus in watching Asian dramas (even after my big stop because of my lack of time). Within a few weeks/months I will probably find some really interesting drama and watch a whole bunch at the same time :D.

I am kind of interested in starting 'You Who Came from the Stars'. Do you recommend it?

Edit: Oh, and I'm also watching Boys Before Friends (the American version). I never really enjoyed Boys Before Flowers (Korean version), but the quality of this show is so below average I actually find it quite amusing to watch.

I liked it so far, but I've heard it slows down and then the end will be very rushed. Not sure how I feel about that, but I guess I will see. I have a few series on my 'currently watching'-list, but its more like I sometimes watch an episode of them when I feel like it.
You are watching a lot at the moment! I liked rooftop prince a lot. Gu family book I'm still deciding if I want to watch (I don't really like the main actor). I plan on watching the moon that embraces the sun. I like period dramas :). Running man is funny, saw a few of those. The others I haven't seen as of yet. How are they? What is your favourite?

Hey there. Not as late as me! Haha! I've been so busy, I didn't even have time to look up my password for mydramalist. Didn't watch much asian drama as you can imagine. I've been very busy completing my thesis. Today I had to defend it and I have passed, jeej.

So now I'm catching up with all the fun stuff ;). I'm going to celebrate and then I will start looking for a job.

And of course: happy new year!

Sorry for the late reply. Thank you for asking. Currently I'm watching 'Bel Ami', but very slowly, because I've been busy. What about you?

Your article was really cool! Frankly, I'm from France and I never understood all the buzz about Paris, the first…
Paris is overwhelming. I'm not sure if I like it or not. But after a day in Paris I really, really wanted to go home to have some privacy. There are people just everywhere!

Alright, good luck :D.

My sign? Depends, do you mean the Chinese zodiac or the western? I'm a Gemini, so that is 'Air'. But for the Chinese zodiac I'm the very desirable Earth Dragon :P. But well, I'm not much into astrology. For example: my boyfriend is an Ox (Chinese) and this is supposed to be on of the worst combinations ever :P. What sign are you? Are you big on astrology?

If you really enjoy baking/cooking, perhaps you should try to make some time! You know there is this whole trend baking/cooking fresh within a short timespan? To be honest, I'm myself am a 'fast cook' I rarely spent hours in the kitchen.

If your mums a big planter you can always raid her garden ;). My mum is a better gardener than me too. I'm always in awe about how she can determine nearly every single plant in view. I always forget names, but I'm catching up now. But I'm more experimental. She tries new things too, but she always does it the 'right' way. Like at the moment I'm growing potatoes in the attic (totally out of season and out of place :P).

I hope you get your house with garden (even if you won't have children). If you don't like apartments, you should move, don't just move because of others ;).

Boyfriend just came home. He told me that if you are interested in Fxprimus, and want to register, he would be happy if you used this link: http://fxprim.us/leqjcx Then the broker knows he referred you and he gets some kind of bonus. Well, see for yourself ;). If you want more info on trading I'm happy to oblige.

We use FXprimus. It is a good and trustworthy broker (they are only a bit late with their 'news' service, but that I follow on other sites anyway). You should watch out about where you put your money, because there are organisations that will try to get your money. On the internet you can look up reviews. I would also recommend you 'the school of pipsology' this is a free on-line, up-to-date course that will tell you about the most basic things up to all kind of strategies you can use. Very handy! http://www.babypips.com/school

FXprimus (others also) offers free demo accounts. Here you can trade with fake money. Everything works as if you have a real account, but you don't risk anything (of course, you also have no profit :P). But it is really great to test out strategies and learn the basics. I would recommend to use a demo first anyway, because you really want to get to know how it all works.

About the trading. At the moment I do not trade with real money, because I'm testing all kind of strategies (don't want to risk my money on that). You can make trading as risky as you want. If you take a big risk you can make big profits, but also take huge losses. The most important thing is you don't just 'gamble' about what is going to happen. There are a lot of indicators about what the trend might do and of course you also have to keep your eyes on the news. Don't let emotions get to you. You have to calculate your moves and stick to them. And yes, you will make losses sometimes (even the best do), but the important thing is that over the bigger period you make a profit. My boyfriend trades for a few years now (also forex), he is making good profits, but because we are making different apartments out of our house we don't have a lot of money to trade with at the moment. In the future he might go full time, for now it is just for fun and some extra cash ;). If my strategies work I might go full-time in 2014 (I'm testing them over a few months, because you can't tell if something works, because it works one day or one week).

No, I don't live on a farm, but my father-in-law has a bunch of pear trees and an enormous walnut tree. And also a bug elderberry (but already made syrup of the berries a few weeks ago).

Because he doesn't have much time I pick the fruits/nuts and take some for myself too. I also pick some things from nature (we don't have much nature here unfortunately) to eat. It will surprise you how much plants you can actually eat. Also, like at my sisters they have some huge bramble bushes, so in summer you can pick kilos of them :D. At the moment I'm looking for chestnut trees in the neighbourhood. I found one, it did not have a lot of chestnuts :(.

We (bf and I) hope to live in a house with a big garden in the future, and then I will plant my own fruits and veggies. I want a permaculture like garden (it works with layers of different plants, that will help the whole system, instead of planting one kind of plant on one plot, like farmers do). Everything is getting really expensive here, so I would love to be partly self sustainable. And of course it is also very healthy and good for the environment. Lol, I'm starting to sound like a healthnut-hippie :D.

Oh, by the way. Did you see 'The human condition' films? They are not on mydramalist, but they are an old Japanese film trilogy. I did not watch them yet, but my parents are big fans and said they are really great. Perhaps they are something that might interest you. Although I'm not sure, because there is war/disaster/tragedy in them I think and these are not your favourite genres.

Yes (about the thesis), I have applied to revisit the hospital I wrote something about, because it is incomplete. The contract finally came though so I will be spending the next few weeks there.

Other then that: I'm busy trading (forex) and also some more homely things, like I plucked a lot of pears (and transformed them into cakes and pear liquor and stuff) and now I'm processing all the walnuts (it was a really big harvest this year). Unfortunately it rained a lot, so the nuts (and the pears for that matter) are soaked and can not be kept for a longer period. They need to be processed before they start to have mould. Getting a bit sick of it though, because after crunching a few hundred nuts it gets boring, hehehe. But I made a lovely nutbutter and one of my favourite pastries: a walnut tart.
And of course walnuts, blue cheese (Roquefort) and pears are like the most delicious combination ever :D.

I hope you had a great time at the film festival. Did they play things made by your company?

I'm also struggling which drama to pick next. I would love something historical, but I can't find anything. Of course I could restart on Queen Seondeok, but I feel like I can't really watch something with a lot of episodes at the moment. I also don't feel like finishing the series I started... Maybe I stick to films for the next weeks. Also: the new dramas right now really don't sound that interesting. Except perhaps: http://mydramalist.com/japanese-drama/7125/hanzawa-naoki What kind of series are you looking for?

As for non-Asian series. I'm watching Suits together with my boyfriend. We will start of season 3 this week. The series is really popular here, but I really don't know why. It is a good series, but really not that great.

Hey there. Now it is my time to apologies. I thought I replied already, but apparently I haven't. I did not watch any of the Scandinavian films as of yet, as I did not have a lot of time. I'm not even watching a lot of dramas or Asian films at the moment. I did watch 'The woman in the dunes'; very interesting! It was on my mydramalist (not unlikely because I've seen it on your profile page (as I noticed just now it was on there :D)).
