So what kind of bad do you mean? It’s title Mr. bad because of Nan Xing novel otherwise there is nothing about…
Why do you seem so wind up about it?
You don't seem to get the point. I understand the story, it's about what expectations are given. And if you read the comments below, I'm not the only one who is feeling this way.
And yes they commented about her villain being not bad enough, hence she wrote a whole new piece about xiao wudi being evil.
And no 'dangerous' villains in a comedy? I won't even comment about it...

Both description and first episode imply xiao wudi is an antagonist. I was expecting him to change for the better, but he was hardly 'bad' to begin with. His powers are grossly underused. I had hoped he would begin his world (or at least city/neighbourhood) domination or perhaps build a mafia network or something. But everything stayed very vanilla. Yes, I understand why, because I understand the ending. But that doesn't mean I did not have different expectations and I am disappointed about it.
This was sugary sweet. It was nice to see everyone being nice and supportive. But it I was hoping for a real 'bad boy' lead. It feels like it had more potential .
I rarely watch Korean drama's nowadays, having started to prefer mostly Chinese series. However, as I am a sucker for the gender-bender theme, I could not let this one slip, even though there are a lot of negative comments. It wasn't that bad actually, but yes, some things weren't that logical and it did not live up to it's potential. The music and slowmotion were also over the top for me, but I have this problem a lot (and sometimes even more) with other Korean drama series. Bless the fast forward. I did however enjoy the twist with the woman being in the higher position. The romance was sweet. I did not giggle and get excited as much as l do normally watching gender-benders. Overall it was ok.
Loved: - lots of grey characters - love can change over time - people change over time due to events in their lives (however: sometimes a bit to good to believe). I loved how all the Qiu ladies got closer together after their downfall. And the joke that it must be going well again because they start quarelling again 😂. - the chemistry between the leads. I could feel real friendship between all three. - strong willed female lead - the relationship between the sisters. Even when they don't like eachother, in the end they do still care and regret some of their actions. - supportive mother-in-law - the growing of love over time - working together with a antagonist
Could be better: - Qin Xuan, the poor guy, was treated badly. I did like how he got some better closure and he got a bit stronger in the end. Qiu Min should not have a happy ending with Qin Xuan. She practially raped him (by drugging him, lying and forcing herself on him) and let him have all the consequentions.. he deserved better. She should have let him find his true love, not be bound by her. - the ending could have ended much sooner. The last plot twist was a bit to much.
This was not a bad story, but a lot of potential was wasted. They could have made this so much better. It was nice to see a female lead with some backbone. The ending was plain weird, but I thought it kind of funny.
Ive only watched 1 cdrama, you are my hero. I liked it, but they act even more childish than Koreans. They date…
These things seem to happen in both countries. However, I watched countless series (from both countries) and the production of Korean drama's is overall better (some chinese series really lack budget and it shows), but they also feels more 'slick' and artificial... Overly edited? I don't know how to describe it another way. I recommend you watch some more series. 'Go ahead', 'The untamed', 'You are my glory' and 'scarlet heart' for example are absolute treasures.
The male lead really gives realistic and cute kisses. Well.. not the kisses themselves, but how he looks at her and then kisses her. The build-up I suppose. And I do not mean slow motion, repeat with over the top music, over-edited build-up you often see, but just facial expressions. Very good.
Watched first episodes with timed comments and people were very negative. But I liked it. I do admit skipping most of the real world company politics/family drama, but I enjoyed everything else. Ending was also nicely wrapped up.
The story was kind of a mess, and halfway through it became a whole different series. I still kind of enjoyed it, probably because of the actors still doing a good job.

Overal a nice watch.
