fuck sake why does that lee jong suk fraud need to be in every drama where I like the leading lady. My luck is…
I'm not really a big fan either, but I do not really mind him is this series. It would be a waste to stop watching as it is a very interesting story :).
Since time of airing this drama, my every week looks like: whole week I am almost dying because of waiting for…
If I really want to watch a currently airing drama I usually wait until about half of the episodes are out, because a lot of series start out good/bad and show their true colours after a few eps. If everyone is still positive I start watching and only have the waiting agony for a few weeks tops.
Unfortunately I accidentally started watching this one when 2 eps. where just out, so now I have to wait way too much :D.
I have a question! Since W is written by her father, it's a product of her father's mind. Since both( the female…
Haha, well, to be honest the thought that Yeon Joo is his biological daughter and Chul is the child of his mind did rise when I was watching the series. I thought it very funny and imagined her saying something like 'we are technically family' and then seeing his face :P.
However, I do not view it as incest if they would start a relationship. They are not blood related and also did not grow up together. If he was a stepbrother she grew up with as a child I would have found it strange, but she only meets him in person as adult.
I'm quite worried about how this in going to turn out. Despite the original series having some horrible looking characters (mostly because of the half-bold-wigs and horrible hair and clothing styles :D), the acting and story itself was absolute top notch and touched my heartstrings in a way not many dramas can. This Korean trailer does not remind me of this funny-turned emotional story at all...
I really didn't see it coming what he did in the bathroom, and it was kind of an ass move :D.
Anyway, the story is very unpredictable and never boring. It reminded me when Cruel City was slowly coming out; the wait for new episodes was also too long.
This was a big mess, and I loved it. Even though it was obviously very low budget, (some of) the acting was actually very good and the story though ridiculous actually pulled me in. The ending (or should I say endings) was a bit strange. Overall I had a good laugh and actually enjoyed the romance too :D.
Espero também que essa história de aumentar 16 episódios para 20 não se aconteça aqui.... 16 episódios é…
True, I think a lot of dramas that get an extension do not benefit from them. The stories gets stretched out to much and lose their flow. If they have to rush the ending and get to make it a bit longer, that's great.. but if they just extent for fanservice I'm not a big fan.
Ok, so I rewatched the first two eps (it's tht good), and I feel like it still isn't enough! I want to watch them…
In reaction to: 'Something obviously happened to make him call Kang Chul a monster and make him want to destroy him.'
For your other question: I'm not sure when it all started. The reaction of his staff (his disappearance, them wondering how he finished up episodes so suddenly and without their help) suggests its something that only started recently (or got out of control recently). The fact he want to kill Kang Chul is either because he already got sucked in for a while, but lost control or discovered something or just because he got sucked in and shortly thereafter decided it was dangerous/unnatural/scary. At this point in the story we really can't tell for sure.

The answer maybe very easy: there very fact the story is getting a life of its own is supernatural and quite scary for the writer. Imagine you are making a book or a drawing and it comes alive and takes you into it sometimes. Some people might think it wonderful, but a lot of people also might be scared or if they are religious might think it is the work of demons or the devil.
Although I skipped some small parts, because I felt the drama was stretched out to much, the series made me laugh from the first to the last episode. It wasn't perfect, but it was unique and there were some strong female characters I really liked. Also the hero is not the typical broody romantic type of man: he is kind of of a strange guy and a genius in his own crazy way.
How does this compare with Nirvana in Fire? I know it is a completely different series, but I'm quit curious if it has the same kind of quality (lovely filming, good plot, no boring moments, realistic acting)?
Also, is it more of a melodrama or not? I'm quit sensitive.. like I adore 'scarlet heart', but I feel down the next few days after watching, because it has such a big emotional impact. On the other hand: Nirvana in Fire had an okay ending for me.
I absolutely loved it. Never a boring moment, beautifully filmed, great acting and a very well written plot. I do get the similarities with 'Le Comte de Monte Cristo' (one of my favourites also) as we see a great revenge plot where the bad guys get punished time after time and the hero is to clever to fall for their ploys. Lovely, don't we all secretly wish we could be clever enough to get our little revenges? :p
One of the things I noticed and really appreciated was the fact that mr. Shu is not only brooding and feeling sad, but also has some very cute and human interactions with his friends.. little jokes, strange faces he makes... he is not just the brilliant mastermind, but a real human and friend, with his own feelings... living not only for the big plot, but also reacting to everyday life and conversations. It definitely gave it an extra dimension and was much appreciated.
