So tempted to watch! CG effects usually put me off these dramas though. I'm torn.
I've watched the series these last few days for the first time too :). It's very good, but don't forget to watch the cut scenes nearing the end, because they actually make the storyline better and its also more satisfying because of the 'interactions' :p. Have fun :D.
I'm not sure what to think of the ending. I like it that the teacher finally got over himself and admitted he loved her and wanted to be with her... but it felt quite cowardly to have a lose her memory, because she finally was fed up with him and taught him the lesson he needed to learn. And actually, her final wish was that she would have never fallen in love with him.
In the next life SHE should have been the teacher and he the student, because even holding all the power of the world in her hand, she never did any harm, while he and especially his so called good sect did a lot of cruel things. He needs to get over himself and admit they were wrong all along. So... ending with her calling him teacher again.. no, that bothered me.
Oh and too bad they cut the 'jealous kiss scene' from the series. It was quit satisfying to see the teacher lose control :p.
Just watched episode 6. It is getting more consistent and I'm enjoying it ;).
The main lead is kind of a klutz, which bothered me at the beginning (I like the hero to be smart), but now I start to accept it.
Is this drama good from the perspective of a non-fan?
Not a fan of EXO here. Really, I hardly watch any k-pop. And I had to read some of the wikipedia pages, because I kept confusing some of the members.
So far (finished 14/16 episodes) I thought it a very enjoyable and light hearted. It is -I suppose- made as a fan service, and I suspect the plotline is probably a lot of fangirls secret dream? I had to warm up to the female lead, because in the beginning she acts kind of like a douche and had no respect for privacy. But even as she keeps on being an airhead, she did grow on me.
It are only short episodes, so you can't expect the same depth as a 'full' drama, however I would not have any problem recommending this series. It is a funny and cute watch.

Nam Goong Min did a good job, but he and some of the other actors could not save the show.
Starting out good and then becoming kind of... meh. I almost believe it would save itself near the ending, because the pace was picked up, but then it all failed in the last episodes...
I guess as non chinese speakers have to learn Chinese huh? no subs. Nada! not even the first episodes. Gosh! what…
You do realize that most of the subs of Asian series on-line are fansubs? It is amazing that there are people who do this for us. Yes, unfortunately a lot of Chinese and other non-Korean series do not immediately get subs. Especially the lesser known series. But don't forget the absolute luxury we have. It is amazing that some of these (Korean) series are broadcast one day and online in HD with subs the next. This takes a lot of work and dedication.
I understand your disappointment, but I find the way you phrase it very condescending. Try to see it in perspective. And if you want to change it: yes you should learn Chinese and start subbing for others :).

Not really a comedy, but not just sad either. There are some sad moments and the series deals with some serious issues. But to be honest I cried mostly because of the beautiful moments.

True. I really like this kind of romantic series, but the way the doctor-patient relationships are handled are horrible and is turning me off. He is breaking so many rules. Even when I try to accept that its a drama and not everything is like real life, it really keeps bugging me. I'm stuck at episode 10.. even though I like the premise, this keeps me from loving it.
Am I the only one hoping that mom will go all out on her revenge City Hunter style?
Really want the bad guys to be completely crushed and revealed to the public.
