The writers are trying really hard to make us sympathize with 2ML in these latest episodes 16/17. I don’t.
Those backstories actually showed he was worse than I thought. Someone who never believed the girl he was supposed to like. Never supported her in anyway. And criticized her every time they met. Then blamed everything on Rong. Never took responsibility for his behavior and actions. Played victim to both Rong and XG. Such a spineless coward in everything he did relationship wise. So what he was a good student and great at work. Not a good candidate for boyfriend or future hubby. When he was thinking about XQ it’s about what she could do for him, if she would take care of him the way Rong did. While LYS always considered what’s best for XG and how to help her
Maybe the only drama I have seen his character alive in the end.
I thought that was a timeline before he passed. If he had lived, he would not have avoided his friends. That’s my take on it. Maybe they did that clip so people could interpret it either way

Yes totally agree 💯 really liking this aspect of Jin dad teaching Zhao regarding driving skills and remodeling cars. Love his teaching methods like Mr Myaki teaching Daniel in the Karate kid, wax on wax off. He made Zhao deliver take outs. 😉🤣🙌 Also liked that he’s teaching Zhao with the way he cooked to explain the concepts.
Made me tear up once they revealed 🐕s connection to Xie Hai An and sister. 🥹🥲 and it led them to their father’s grave. I was curious the whole time whose dog it was and why it seemed to know all the key players like the uncle and Pu. So brilliantly played 👍
