Yes totally agree 💯 really liking this aspect of Jin dad teaching Zhao regarding driving skills and remodeling cars. Love his teaching methods like Mr Myaki teaching Daniel in the Karate kid, wax on wax off. He made Zhao deliver take outs. 😉🤣🙌 Also liked that he’s teaching Zhao with the way he cooked to explain the concepts.
Made me tear up once they revealed 🐕s connection to Xie Hai An and sister. 🥹🥲 and it led them to their father’s grave. I was curious the whole time whose dog it was and why it seemed to know all the key players like the uncle and Pu. So brilliantly played 👍
Oh wow, so that explained the jealousy act. Sometimes drama changed the character and plot but still threw in a little scene from the novel. Sometimes it made sense to the viewers. Most often not, only novel readers would get it.
I can't believe LWT became a monk and then killed himself. It just seems out of character.
I think LWT acted selfishly. He abandoned his wife and GPY even went as far as ruining his future and almost got him killed so he could keep his identity a secret and become a rich merchant. Then all of a sudden he felt guilty and tried to make up to GPY by becoming a monk and abandoning his second family son LQ. No wonder LQ hated GPY. LWT even had the audacity to ask GPY to take care of the spoiled son he raised because he helped him with the Tsao water gang. He’s selfish to the end and only thought of himself his whole life. He didn’t want to face the consequences and left a mess for GPY to clean up, after LQ.
