Empress just pretended to care about the princess. She’s not her daughter. She and her father PM framed ML and Princess’s real mother, the last empress and caused her death. That’s how she become the current empress and has her own son. Princess was too young and naive to know that. Only the brother ML knew. They’re totally using the princess for their own advantage.
