As we’ve seen so far, humans did as much if not more damages to demons in this drama. As a human, she might be kind to demons, but she would not treat them equally as seen by her actions and beliefs. They are more like toys or pets to her to be studied.

Is quite useless. She’s also biased towards demons, will not be a fit ruler for both human and demons

I think they translated the term Xu Sien wrong. It means second or later wife, not the original wife. Chen Lan was trying to humiliate Lin Hairu as not being the original wife or first choice. She’s a snob who only considered people worhty by title and status. Like business folks are lower in status compared to studies to pass imperial exams and become officials or noble families

In the character chart, it showed the kid doc real mom is a demon, so he’s a half breed

XuanYuan is the youngest, no 8 in the family
