Title Irresistible Love 2 Spoiler
Till the end I hoped that it wasn't true, that it was just Nian plan so that Yan could forget him and marry that…
Right if you're sure - To those who might click on this - this is the HAPPY ENDING which is why I've ensured it's got the SPOILER box checked.

so Nian still leaves and gets into an accident; that doesn't change. However, in this ending he survives.....but he's crippled and disfigured. Xiao Yan still spends time trying to find him, around two years if I remember correctly. One day he's sitting on a bench reminiscing about what he's lost; and he sees this man pushing a wheelbarrow and limping along; the person also looks very skinny and weak (it's heartbreaking in the book). He takes time realising who it is, but when he does he rushes over and confronts him.

Nian is completely dumbfounded that Yan has found him. Yan kisses him and swears they'll never part again; even though Nian initially tries to tell him not to make such promises, to forget him and move on with his life. Yan won't listen and assures Nian that his love is true and hasn't faded - moreover that he's spent two long years looking for him. He gets Nian medical treatment and good food and takes care of him; making him a lot healthier.

However, Nian will never be the same as he was; he will always have a limp, always be scarred and always be sickly due to the accident. Still Yan loves him and looks after him, telling him he just wants him to stay by side; to go where he goes (as he told him after Nian was beaten up).... and so they stay together.....

You can see why this was the happy ending (bittersweet though it may be) and why the novel's fans were so RAGING this ending wasn't used. I LOVED this ending.......so much better than the awful sad one; I do so hope the censors relent and let it be released with the uncut video. what do YOU think of it? :)

where is the other ending the happy one i really need to see it to forget about all this shit ahhh i am going…
IF, and it's a big IF right now, the uncut dvd gets released with the happy ending then there are a multitude of BL and Chinese movie channels on Youtube promising to get it on there ASAP. Apart from uncut releases (IF HEs have been filmed) I am so done with Chinese BL now as we know it will NEVER contain a happy ending.....damn censors!

Sorry but i will not watch it. I want a happy ending.
It's not released yet as the uncut dvd has still not been released by the censors. The makers are hopeful it will next month now.

Ok is just me or China people don't know how to make a happy ending
The Chinese government can make happy endings but they NEVER do for the LGBT dramas as they don't want to 'encourage that lifestyle choice as normal'. They prefer to promote the idea that being gay will mean your parents hate and disown you and/or LITERALLY die of shame, that you and/or your partner will also die from disease/murder/random act of violence/paper cut or stubbed toe and that whatever happens being gay, lesbian, bi or trans means you lead an miserable existence and are fated to die young and in agony. It sickens me that the they are still so deeply in the Dark Ages....

Yes there is but the censors didn't want the movie released with it in case (and I quote their statement) "Chinese teens see a happy outcome and think this kind of lifestyle is normal" - NEWSFLASH being gay IS normal; it is NOT a lifestyle choice. Some of the comments on this movie with the sad ending on youtube cannot be repeated; what doesn't help is it looks like the censors are now deliberately dragging their feet on the release of the dvd because not only will it be uncut, but the filmmakers are insisting it contain the happy ending as they promised fans it would.......

We need a third part also...n
The novel has a happy ending - the Chinese censors will not let that happen by allowing a 3rd part......so it's been banned from making any more parts in China. Unless another, more LGBT tolerant country remakes it, we'll never see the end of the book on film. SUCH a SHAME.

How many episodes - someone said there's 7 (and that's what listed here), but kissasian only has 5. Anyone know…
Ah thanks for that - I haven't been checking; I will definitely move it to the top of my 'binge-watch' list as it's a fairly short series. Thanks again for the update. :)

I loved him in Cruel Romance - his character was so cheeky in a lot of it; a real lovable rogue. But my daughter (18) watched it too and said that she felt the tormented and broken part of his character was very real; so much so that it seemed to really make her sad. I tried to reassure her that I thought he was just a brilliant actor and he was so sweet and happy in interviews that it was unlikely to be the case. But she shook her head and said that even broken souls can wear happy masks. I am so, SO sad to see he was indeed a sad soul - I hope he is at peace now and his suffering is ended. My thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family at this terrible, tragic time. He is a big loss to the acting profession that much is certain. T_T

ANYTHING with Saito Takumi and I'm there; he's a superb actor, has a voice like liquid chocolate and is drop dead gorgeous - so for me 'Love like Fate' is a MUST-SEE.<3

I'm already watching 'Shopping King Louie'; the first episode was hilarious.....the butler chasing Seo In Guk with a disgusting health drink had me laughing out loud. If the rest of the series is as good, I think it'll rate up there with 'High School King of Savvy' for comedy alone.

My next must watch is The K2 because.....well, Ji Chang Wook AND action and romance - what's NOT to love?! :D Then I think I'll go for 'Stay with Me' and 'Soseki Natsume's Wife' because they just look interesting. :)

The ONLY reason I didn't give this a whole 10 is because of the ending. The whole two parter was really good -…
Watch these two episodes and then the movie - these episodes were like the prequel and explain the beginnings of the story. The movie is the story itself and who she ultimately chooses. Hope that helps. :) PS its a really good story now it's all together. :D

Domoyouji from Hana Yori Dango has got to be the worst . He got three students to attempt to gang rape Makino…
Like Junypo and Jandi then in BoF - he got her almost gang raped, beaten up, her bike set on fire; covered in God knows what at said beating and then kidnapped just for knowing him and beaten again. Not to mention abandoning her repeatedly; his mother ruining her family and her best friend's - yet she STILL chose him instead of the wonderful Ji-Hoo........I will NEVER, EVER understand the women in such dramas. NEVER. *face wall* when face palming is just not enough.

I get it with Irie-kun (Itazura na Kiss) - there were times when I would've gutted him like day old mackerel with a song in my heart and a smile on my lips. BUT, and it's a pretty big one, I know people with Asperger's Syndrome and this IS how they honestly act. They genuinely don't mean to hurt anyone's feelings or make them angry; it's just who they are - and so I refrain from organising a lynch mob for Irie-kun.

I mean imagine living in a world where you have a high IQ (Intelligence Quota) and find studies easy and facts, figures, and books understandable because - like computers - they don't have those pesky emotions to deal with and NEVER change. They are an unchanging constant and you can rely on them to always be the same.

HOWEVER, you have ZERO EQ (Emotional Quota) - so you cannot understand body language, facial cues or tones of voice. Other people's emotions confuse the hell out of you, because you just don't get why saying a certain thing at a certain time should be important. Like saying I love you - why isn't once enough; they know, so why keep repeating it? Or just telling your significant other they can't love anyone but you - that spells it out surely?

Of course when YOU experience emotions such as love and jealousy it freaks you out and so your default reaction is just retreat and hide (internally; perhaps even externally too - retreat to bedroom and instead study/work) because it's just too much to deal with. So for me, whilst the Taiwanese was my favourite version, the Japanese one will always have a big place in my heart, just because of my friends. :)

This seems to be the kind of movie I like. If anyone finds it subbed, please let me know. =)
Yup me too and this only reinforces my need to learn Japanese and Korean. :)
