I think there's hope for a happy ending since Nut's tumor was detected earlier than in the previous timeline.…
Nut was taken to the hospital just a few days before the competition now, plus the surgery should take place in Bangkok. I don’t think it makes much difference.

Such a beautiful confession…then they break our hearts minutes later…this better be a happy ending!!!
A happy end is increasingly unlikely. All the proceedings and the general vibe are going the opposite direction.

YES! YES! YES! YES!!! He did it!!!!! :D :D :D Hehehehe!!
It is still not quite enough, considering Nut is still more than likely to die at the end anyway.

7 episodes in but the main leads relationship didn't move anywhere? What are they gonna do in 3 episodes? So in…
What makes you think that everything will be all right in the reamining episodes? It does not seem to be the caser at all, quite on the contrary.

WHY are people getting mad at those upset with the SA?? Them just excusing it bc it's a yakuza drama is stupid...…
You are talking absolute rubbish out of your arse.

Nothing is "romanticized" here. Both sexual interactions between the yakuza head and the underling were presented in a grim, absolutely aromantic way.

You annoying SJWs cry and go on and on about "romanticizing" whenever something unpleasant just happens on the screen . For some godddamn stupid reason you have the idea that creators owe you not to show such grim aspects or if they do there should be a preachy condemnation displayer about it.

And no, romance is not always sweet rainbows and butterflies. It can be dark, grim and unpleasant as well, especially in the world of people from an organized crime.

If anyone is "problematic" then the self-appointed finger-pointers like you who cannot just walk away from a show but feel the need to play the moral supremacist.

Byeee. Good choice. You can use the extra time you won by dropping this to learn punctuation.

i think it is important to talk about consent. But I think people talk about consent like a binary - either yes…
"Talking about consent" in a yakuza-themed drama is like talking about killing in a murder mystery or talking about violence in an action movie. Pointless and futile.
On The Journey to Killing You Sep 27, 2025
Consent police freaks just jog along. Wtf did you expect from a yakuza-themed show?
Also people like how can a vicious gangster be suddenly kind to a boy with a bird. So personalities are not black or white? How shocking. Jesus wept, what a kindergarten again.

What about trying to comprehend what I wrote first before you respond? My point is not that why it is shown. The frigging problem is that Asian productions, especially Thai lakorns always find excuses for such abusive parental behaviour, and I have my two cents that is gonna happen here as well.
On Love in the Moonlight Sep 23, 2025
Another horrific piece of shit father about whom I have no doubt the show will try to shove down our throats that all the abuse he is doing to his son is happening in the name of love and who will untoubtedly get away with his disgusting actions without anyone ever telling him off - in the best Lakorn tradition.

I love the music that played during both of Naran's and Krailert's love scenes. Google's music search feature…
I am subbing this series for another lnaguage and I always include the songs. I have to tell that throughout the series the songs and especially the lyrics always fitted perfectly with the proceedings. It is a crime the captions were not added to the English subtitles.

Regarding the burning, I think it was done out of respect for Veera and Krailert by protecting their secrets.
And also as a middle finger to Pracha by defying his order to spread them. They surely kew he had Veera killed.

from my pov, Dao is a strong character, i dont find her pitiful. cause that shoe slap says it all.
I don't think Naran knew he did not like women when he started dating Dao. To me it seemed that meeting Krailert was the time of his gay awakening.

Appreciating how villainous her character turned out to be is one thing, but thinking she did a good thing is…
A comment from youtube:

"Actions have consequences being gay does not mean he gets a free pass to cheat or treat his wife like furniture he got as a wedding present.....I understand him but can't dismiss what she is feeling her husband running of with his bf, what is she supposed to give him a lift to the airport????? Marriage is not a joke n should not be used as a tool as per our convenience"

And these people do exist. Trapping a gay man into marrying you after having his lover eliminated, then threatening to do the same with his new lover and his nephew, then coercing him into impregnating her is apparently ok, but cheating, goodness me, that is the end of the world. They are seriously fucked in the head.

I am very curious about what good side of Dhevi you could come with up after this.
If you never condemned Krailer then I am sorry, my bad in this case.

But the mental gymnastics you are still using to justify her ruthless scheming is unbelieavable. When you say she did not know anything the nyou are either lying or did not pay attention to the plot, take your pick.

It was clearly stated that she not only knew about him beig gay, but also knew his lover was killed by her father for her sake and he knew about his affair with Naran too and threatened him to repeat this if he tries to leave her. Being gay was looked down but not illegal at the time, and trying to paint all these obsessed shenanigans - including eliminating people in her way, or letting them eliminated - she went through to get a gay man as her husband as something reasonable and normal for 70s, and even trying to twist her actions as a saviour's act for Krailert is just too absurd for words. I am the one who could rightfully ask you if you are listening to yourself.

I think it's more childish to conflate "complexity" with "pointless misery". There were many complicated…
He was not a helpless pawn. He did not sacrifice his life for himself but for others. Sacrificing happy life for others is also a form of love and he explained to Trin why he chose the way he did. He certainly looked back at what decision he made when he married also.
But I give up on this with you because you seem to be cemented in the opinion that no matter what gay lovers should be together, whether in life or death. This story was not about that.

Ok after watching ep 8 and reevaluating it, i honestly don’t think Tanwa should be together with Trin. Well,…
Trin was about to chase Tanwa. He called him and he was ready to fly back to Thailand to find him. Tanwa was just quicker.

I am very curious about what good side of Dhevi you could come with up after this.
So we can summarize that you cannot say one positive aspect of her character (no wonder, there isn't) and trying to sweep her horrendous acts under the rug as "she was the product of the time", which apart from being an exceedingly lame excuse is not even true.

It is not "product of the time" or the necessary attributes of coming from a miltray family to knowingly threaten and entrap a gay man into marrying you against his wish, let alone having his lover killed and even threatening to repeat the act if he dares to escape from the hell you created for him. That is an extremely twisted logic to try to defend her vicious and indefensible actions. She had a choice. She could have found someone else whom she could love and who could love her back, but instead she chose to do what she did because she was a selfish and spolied rich socialie who thought she was entitled to have whoever she wanted at all costs. Simple as farting. There is no nuance.

It is actually quite hilarious that you previously condemned the cheating act - which was the only option for some gay men at the time - yet you try to crawl up to the glass wall to find excuses or reasons for her much more horrible and absolutely unncecessary actions.

if only that evil woman at least got some kind of punishment but no nada
She had a miserable and lonely life by the side of a man who didn't love her, and after Krailer has learnt what she had done he certainly even despiced and resented her from then on. I am not saying it is enough punishment but it is a punishment as well.
