This show is nothing extraordinary but so far it is reasonably entertaining and well enough done.

The show has several issues, especially in its writing, but the performances and the intimacy are perfectly fine.
Btw this "they have no chemistry" canned bullshit means nothing. Chemistry is very subjective. They just say this whenever they don't like an actor or a pairing because they think it sounds more objective than simply stating their personal displeasure.

If you expect the same pace from an action-packed fantasy-thriller and a slow-burning historical and ghost story romance, just because the stars are the same, then the problem is in your gadget.

There are also a large amount of people struggling with various addictions from alcohol to overeating and gambling and so on, and following this stupid logic filmmakers should not show drinking, eating and playing in casinos either. It is not up to filmmakers or anyone else to hide and conceal the real life from immature adults who cannot handle their own addictions without the world outside shutting itself down for their sake. These idiotic censorship laws in the developed world have been created by lobbyists who successfully fed a considerable amount of people that the right way to deal with this is by babying adults and telling them what they can see and what they cannot. Too bad enough looneys swallowed this without a burp.

It might sound like a surprise to you but the world does not revolve around you and your husband, and filmmakers do not have to refrain from showing a common occurrence just because you have addiction problems and the rest of the world does not have to adjust to your personal issues. Sort that out yourselves.

This pathological need of BL fans to enforce competition between main and second couples in dramas is beyond irritating.
