He is definitely in love with her. As and experienced watcher of this kind of trope, the ML should be cold and…
How groundbreaking for a kdrama would it be if she ends up with Jun Hwa or even her bestie from the bathhouse instead of the prince. The chemistry with the prince seems forced for the sake of the plot. I also think that the crown prince is a bit dumb for not figuring out that Dok Su is a woman after all the hints he got.
ok, everything about this drama is bizarre. its unconfortable, like a weird indie movie trying to push buttons.
That's exactly why I like it. They dont try to recycle other kdrama plots or copy Hollywood sci-fi movies . It's refreshing. Beeing a biologist myself I really laughed at the whole fruitfly and mouse scenario.
I hope they don't glorify cheating even it's main lead
I think they'll break up before they start something new. But it's clear that noone is in a relationahip that's truly fulfilling. Happens in real life too.
I liked the first episode. The characters are interesting and so far it"s like nothing I've watched in kdramaland. The flashbacks have a western feel to them. I liked Lee Min Hos acting in it too. Good that he's no chaebol this time. Lol
I realky like Bae In Hyuk. But acting-wise he's outshone by the other leads so far. His crown prince could use some feistiness. He looks a bit bland compared to the SML and the bully Except for his role in "My roomate is a guminho" I always see him playing a rather polite guy. But I haven't watched all of his dramas. But the show just started. I wait and see if he emotes more in later episodes.
I really think that Lee Ho Won is doing a great job in this. He's playing the bully really funny reminding me of the ex in "Marry my husband" who was hilarious too. I somehow hope for some character development to go against the cliche. Would be nice if he becomes somewhat of an ally later on.
Contrary to many, I really liked the original Korean drama. It’s not often that a drama is able to portray that…
I agree 100%. I prefer the kdrama for the same reasons. The only thing I didn't like in the kversion was the pacing at the end. The redemption arc could have been longer while the story with SML could have been shorter. I would have liked a bit more backstory for the ML too but I think it was part of the charme of the story that you had to fill in some gaps for yourself. Ironically that's what the watcher has to do for much more parts of the Jversion while the backstory is much clearer this time around.
I really liked S2. Great acting and an interesting plot. It's less focused on the games and more on psychology. It's good that they didn't use the same formula like in S1.
I liked the story and the acting. But the finale had too much violence. I normally don´t like it if the actors are showered in blood. But that´s just my preference.
I am eagerly awaiting the last two episodes. I hope the ML rescues his daughter. It's a really intense show. But somehow I miss the spoiled antagonist of the first half. He was quite creepy.
