I thibk she just disappeared on him instead of properly breaking up... I think it's said that he don't know why…
You are doing some serious deep diving for all this information! lol. I will probably finish watching the series. I like the actors so far. One of them was in a drama I already watched. It's a nice production.. I just hope they don't make me go crazy if the injustices keep piling up! haha!
He is wearing a ring in present-day episodes, also the PD defined this couple as "faded love" kind of story. So…
Since you say there is a marriage in the script, I bet that she is married to someone else and met him on a getaway.. He still might not know her name, but perhaps he finds out that she is married towards the end of his trip. That would be enough to make him as upset as he is..
I don't like how they are making JW so clingy and desperate for this girl he only knew for a week. I also don't…
It must not have been revealed, because he still doesn't seem to know who she is. His interview was all about how cool and collected he was and hers was all about truth to herself. I can say at this point, they were both full of it. Not good to lie or mess around with peoples emotions. Yeah, I might drop this one soon. They both seem supremely unhappy at the end of episode 3.
I thibk she just disappeared on him instead of properly breaking up... I think it's said that he don't know why…
I still didn't see any exchange of rings. I wonder if she is actually in a relationship with someone else.. possibly already married? She definitely dumped him, she said so in episode 1. "seduced him, had sex with him, and dumped him after I had my fun"
Okay, so now we know it wasn't the one night stand angle. Now we are going to get a bigger buildup for a huge meltdown. I wonder what the big breakup is about? He's drinking and she is moping around a bit more.. must've been bad.
I was hoping for a little more of Oh Sun Young's story.
It is roping me in a little bit more, but if the lie keeps stretching for too many more episodes, I will drop it.
I understand her...sometimes we just need to challenge ourselves.... I'm an introvert who hates talking....i became…
I wonder if anyone has ever got it right the first try... I know I sure didn't. Probably because women mature much earlier/faster than men. lol. Life lessons are never easy. Taking care of relationships aren't easy either. Even if you are on the same page, it is always a struggle to remain there. Controlling the choices you make every day...
I am curious where they are going to go from here in this show. I hope for a positive track instead of a negative one.. ha!

"Sometime sex is just sex...."
I totally agree with this statement, but in the case of our MML, it was more than just sex to him, and she recognized it... he even recognized it vocally.
I am just saying that if I was in that situation where I wanted sexual gratification and my partner started proclaiming their love for me I would stop right there unless I felt the same.. I wouldn't want to bask in sexual gratification at the expense of my partners feelings if they weren't the same as mine...and vice versa. Clearly in this show that is not what happened.
Of course like you said, human's are flawed. I have known people that would lie, steal and cheat for their own sexual pleasure and others that would enter round after round of emotional battery in search for their "true love". Who's right? Whatever works for you I guess.
Interesting, I haven't read or seen any interviews of the actors. I came across this show accidentally when I was searching for some new shows/movies to watch on Netflix. I don't believe I have seen these actors before. I am relatively new to Asian drama's. I got into these from suggestions from a few friends of mine that I work with from that region. I usually watch mostly movies instead of serials or drama's. I have been pleasantly surprised with the productions I have seen so far.
I am by no means an expert on human psychology or any of the other social sciences. The only textbook exposure I had was the required undergrad classes I had to take in college.

In my culture, a one night stand is a mutual agreement for sex no strings attached with a stranger and done. You are the one that mentioned "one night stand" I was just saying their situation doesn't fall into that category as I know it. I'm not saying that they have to fit into any kind of category.
She is no more guilty than he is. His video confession was all about how laid back he was.. not clingy and all "chill. He is anything but chill, and getting so emotional in just a few weeks seems very extreme. Her transgression if she felt guilty about the lie, should've been to not sleep with him after he made his love confession. She didn't want to say no, but she wanted it from him as bad as he wanted it from her.. yet she totally blew him off the next day. I am not sure that she blew him off because of guilt over a lie. I didn't see anything or read any dialogue that points to that. She could've blown him off because she got what she wanted to get from him. In her confession she claims that she got so many things that she needed. I didn't hear guilt in that confession.
These are the tricky parts for me, because I am not sure of the subtleties that I might be missing in translations. I definitely need to hear more of her story to understand what she is up to.
He wasn't exactly happy about it the next day, so their expectations were clearly different. She seemed perfectly happy and content the next day after blowing him off. The only time she seemed remorseful was during the video confessions of how upset he seemed after their encounter. He should've held out too when he didn't get the response he was looking for when he said "I love you". He even questioned himself, but still went for it. He is just as guilty for his situation and his overall feelings of being used. I only mention "harm" because he came away from it feeling used. They both could've diffused before sex so there would be no feelings of "hurt".
I feel they both have a part in it because of different expectations.
As far as the video confession in episode 1, she talks about how truthful she is with herself even when breaking up, but she doesn't have to worry about the truth when she lies about who she is? That part is confusing me a bit. I guess I will get more revelation in the next episode?
I can't speak for anyone else, but I would never go out and try to intentionally hurt someone. I understand that people still get hurt even when there is no intention of it. That's life.
I understand her...sometimes we just need to challenge ourselves.... I'm an introvert who hates talking....i became…
One other strange thing, in her interview in the 1st episode, didn't she say something like she was always truthful to herself? even when she breaks up? Seems to clash with her story.. not quite sure what she meant by that statement then by her later confession.
I don't speak the language however, and I am just going by the translations..
I understand her...sometimes we just need to challenge ourselves.... I'm an introvert who hates talking....i became…
I don't really classify this as a one night stand.. it wasn't like they met in a bar and did it.. that is also usually a mutual understanding between the two parties.
These two knew each other for a while.. through the course of the month. Although, he never knew about her.. because of the lie.
I was pointing out immaturity. Not in all cases, but most people have had many sexual relationships and boyfriends/girlfriends by that age.. no?
Of course people act the way they do.. good or bad in sexual relationships. People should have a good time and live their lives.. but at the same time they should also do no harm..
I understand her...sometimes we just need to challenge ourselves.... I'm an introvert who hates talking....i became…
Well, one thing I don't understand about her lies is that she realized right before sex that he wasn't on the same page as her... she should've stopped. You would think these people would know better by the time they are freaking 30 years old. If these people were right out of high school, I could understand the lack of judgement.... but not at 30.
Whether introverted or extroverted, you should always challenge yourself throughout your life. Complacency breeds stagnation. A trap we all often fall in.
Okay, not so sure about this one. Are the camera interviews there to make up for the relatively short episode run time? So they aren't going to "act" the way they feel, they are going to have a scene then burst into a camera interview rant to express themselves? It has a bit of that Cameron Crowe Singles feel to it.
From what I have seen, I am having a hard time getting into it and appreciating the characters. Definitely not sure about this one, but I don't think I am "feeling" it. I'll give it a few more episodes before I decide to continue or drop. Yes, sex has different meanings per individual, but lies.... LIES again... I hope this isn't going to grind on about lies. Already the main leads are huge liars. Lies are a turnoff for me.. maybe that is why I am not digging it so far. One lies about being casual, the other lies about who she is.
Pure speculation.. lol
