The FL in Run-on has a temper. Her temper is always getting her in trouble.. it sure is funny to watch her go off though. You can't argue with her reasoning... haha. I have been watching that show too. It has been very entertaining.

Yeah, that was the movie. I liked all the couples interviews as well. Really different.

Unfortunately I am not able to stream a lot of those movies. I don't feel like adding yet another service to do so. I am sure they are..

I guess my comments were more about when I was young out of high school. The "attraction" thing. Of course in real life, looks are completely superficial. Looks don't last forever either. The variety of life and substance of character.. infinitely more important. I have to look up everyone.. I know none of them.. haha. Sorry.

This is pretty much the first time in my life that I have watched any Asian shows and movies. I was even surprised to see all those different pictures of JKW taken from a bunch of different roles. She does look very different from each one.

I had to look up who you were talking about. Song Kyo Hye is pretty, but less full figured than Jun Ji Hyun and seems to wear more conservative clothing than Jun Ji Hyun. (at least from the pictures I saw) Jun Ji Hyun seemed to dress more revealing, and her poses in the limited shots seemed more... flirty? Even that could change with a little flirtation and wardrobe change for Song Kyo Hye... lol I think even that is subjective.

Body types are a thing.. I know what my preferences are... and my friends have their preferences too.. or what attracts them. One of my friends I went to school with wont even date a girl unless she has a certain hair color! lol

Looks are always subjective. IMO, she is very pretty. I haven't seen her in another show I have been able to watch though.. still I would never say that she isn't very pretty. HJE is very pretty too.. Actually, most of the girls in these drama's are very pretty! That's the big screen for you..

That reminds me of a line I once saw in an old movie. This guy is telling his girlfriend "when I buy a new book, I always read that last page first. That way in case I die before I finish, I know how it ends" haha!

The dialogue from KG suggests that EO was a real kind person before her two month trip and came back different. Did she change her name so she could deliberately start acting the complete opposite of her existing nature? ie: free love and maybe taking more than giving? Maybe before, she used to give too much in relationships and in her day to day life? One other thing that flashed back to me.. the phone call from the phone booth where EO left the breakup message to Jw. Was that location that they flashed in Seoul?

Was KG talking about GJ and RY when he said he knew someone that pretended to be a friend but moved in on the girl after a long time?

This episode left me a little more confused about EO. haha! She did say whether the relationship lasted a night, a few weeks or a few years... her actions are very confusing.

It isn't a big deal to me. It's a show. I don't know how they do things in South Korea. I have never been there. Nobody changes their name without proper documentation here.. with it, you are right.. it isn't a big deal,. I didn't keep commenting on her breaking the law. I mentioned it once, though you indicated you had a problem with my comment. hence my reply.

I know nobody that has ever changed their name other than for marriage, nicknames and middle names. I only mentioned it because here, if you use a made up name and commit a crime.. say stealing expensive camera's it is clearly breaking the law and would be considered Identity fraud. Of course the ML didn't report his camera's stolen, so it seems no charges are likely pending. The job comment I was just tossing it out there because you can't do that HERE....not necessarily relevant to this story. Sorry, my apologies.

My point was, you don't need to make up a name to escape your life/circumstances. I don't know anyone that has done it. I also believe that the beach location was quite far from their homes in Seoul.

It was just some casual comments on why it doesn't make sense to me. I was just tossing it out there. Then again, the show is pure fiction.
After the first 3 episodes, I began to enjoy the show, so I will continue to watch it. Sorry if the comments annoyed you, It really wasn't my intention.

Sorry, I watched a lot of movies... especially in the winter. Richard Linklater is a bit of a Texas legend in film. (Slacker)

Except in Before Sunrise, they agreed to meet again.. but didn't trade enough information and situations arose where they couldn't meet up.... then didn't have enough information to find each other. lol

The longest non-stop I have been on is 18 hours.. .that was brutal. Honestly, I can't tell you what part of the country the wedding was in. I don't even like short flights.. like sitting in a tin can... haha

I knew about India, I work with a few people from there. I couldn't believe how many days it took for the marriage, all the outfits for the different ceremonies. I felt bad for them for how long it took them to fly home and back. Four days of just travel. India is a LONG way from Texas. lol I just didn't realize that it is also common in the rest of Asia.

That explains it, I just didn't realize that it is still a common practice.

I have been watching some of these Korean drama's for the past year. Question: Are arranged marriages a big part of Korean culture? It seems like there are so many attempts in just about every drama!

Yes it sounds legitimate, but seeing as you live in the US, you know you can't just move somewhere and change your name and get a job without a tax ID. You have to have legal means, a stolen ID or someone who is willing to break the law and pay you under the table. Two out of three aren't legal.. so why even bother...especially if you are far away from where you live?

I think it's a little different to move someplace far away and start all over than to change your name/identity. You can go somewhere for a fresh start without perpetrating fraud.

I don't think it is a common thing to change your identity. Change how you act/interact sure, but not the name change.

Sometimes mutations can make a virus less deadly too. I believe that I read that the Flu still mutates at a much faster rate than Covid.. I will follow protocol as well.
