Ultimate Boredom

There was another show I was watching where I went back to re-watch, and I noticed that they had change a whole sentence in the dialogue after I had watched it the first time... I will have to admit that the first translation I read confused me a bit. I just thought it was a difference of sayings between English and Korean.

I always am a bit paranoid that I am totally off track since I have to rely on translations...

I just looked up the top selling singles all time from The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.

The Beatles: She Loves You (1963)
The Rolling Stones: "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" (1965)

Haha. Admittedly I am bored.. what do these songs have to do with anything? Probably nothing with this show...

I bet the Rollings Stars don't exist either. It is probably a play off of The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. Not sure what the significance is. The music on the soundtrack certainly doesn't sound like anything the The Beatles or Rolling Stones ever played. What is PD?

I don't think they are related. No way would KG and SY break up because of EO if they were related. SY also claimed she thought they would get married some day.

Lol... Well, she herself said she wasn't giving them back, first she said keep, then she said steal.. I think you would have to say they were stolen since she isn't intending on giving them back by her own admission. Even if you leave something somewhere and someone takes it and doesn't give it back.. I think by definition it is theft.

Yeah, I think he might report it. The last episode I noticed he had quite a collection of camera's on his shelf. I didn't recognize the polaroid camera, but I know the other two.. they are collectible and cost thousands of dollars... If you can find someone willing to part with them. I just looked up the M6, one on Ebay for 5,300.00 USD. Just that one camera alone would be considered grand theft in the US because of the dollar amount.

I am sure she doesn't know that.. but I am also sure he wants them back. He probably wants an explanation more than anything..

Well, there is a police officer officially in the story now! Also likely to be known by SRY.

2 Things I don't really get about EO:
1) Fake name so many miles away from home
2) Why she kept JW's cameras when she could've kept the custom surfboard he gave to her.

Makes absolutely no sense to me. I think I will watch this one till the finish.

Well, theft of the cameras is definitely a criminal activity.

They aren't cheap, and the lenses can add a significant amount to that. I think that the digital one is probably at least twice the cost of the film camera too... She probably doesn't know what she has..

I am surprised you haven't checked it out yet! This format is just too short.. I think they need at least another 15-20 minutes per episode.

Well, in all fairness, when she said she wasn't going to say "NO" anymore, he was all about pushing her... ie: If you don't meet me at 6, I will assume that means you don't like me" "You want me to stay another month? Well, let's get married" "I thought you weren't going to say no anymore" He goaded her plenty as well.

She is pretty thoughtless, but he pressured her too. Plus her second reason for breaking up hasn't been revealed, although I am assuming it has something to do with KG. He says that he isn't dating, but that scene in the kitchen didn't seem like "roommates". Who knows? I guess we will find out later. I don't like when they drop something like that, then leave it to another episode a few episodes later.

He is mental to still be wearing that ring after a year.. especially after that message. Does anyone know about EO? She was even hiding her working past from KG as well. I still can't get over the name change during a holiday break to some place that isn't even remotely near Seoul. (I had to look it up on a map..lol)

He really is a bit of a loner. At least he seems thoughtful. Thoughtful to his workers, conscientious about his job and overall a pretty nice guy (except maybe his dad and his cousin!)

EO I am not getting at all. She is operating outside anything that would be logical behavior.

Yes, you'd hope that you wouldn't deliberately hurt the one you love... but EO is doing it.. and realizes it... Not feeling very sympathetic to her right now.
Seems like she broke up KG and SY as well.

I hope the old her that she didn't like is better than the new her that isn't very kind.

I am not sure he is too upset about the camera's. I think he is more upset about the memories. He doesn't have any pictures of his trip, and of his love. She kept the bag because she wanted all the pictures. She also lied about throwing everything out.. well, at least about the camera's.

Now KG and SY broke up because of EO? That break up scene was hilarious. SY got so pissed when he had a good time after the breakup. She is just funny! lol. EO lies about everything except the love was real? She is messed up. If you are in love, why on Earth would you let it go? haha! She lies so much I am confused, has it been a year, or a couple of years. She told the developer that she had the film a couple of years... was that a lie too, or am I losing track of the timeline?

The trouble that EO is causing doesn't even make sense anymore. I thought he might have been getting on her nerves... I guess this isn't the case?

I have to say at this point, I am not sure who is going to end up with who, or if any of them will end up together.... Well maybe GJ and RY.

I missed the translation on my laptop. I re-watched episode 1 on my home theater... then the translation subtitle was clear. It was a short flash on my laptop for some reason. Maybe I should watch future episodes directly streamed to the theater equipment... lol I wonder how many other translations I missed! NO!

This is a bit sad, it seems that PJW has no friends in the cast, and he is somewhat antagonistic with his cousin.

I had seen KG get elbow bumped by EO, but I never read a translation that KG knew SRY and GJ as well. If it's there I must've missed it completely.

Okay, I was looking through the production photo's, and they had one listed as a relationship tree that shows SRY and KG as EO's best friends. Didn't see that one before.. That would explain a lot of how she knows a lot about him.... besides the information he gave her....

I don't mind it in small doses. I just don't want it to dominate the story. I think they might be using it because of the short episode format. Some of it is explanatory to the story, and some of it is comedy.
