Well, usually on screen, the two "prettiest people" end up with each other. Lies are so annoying. Yes, thankfully the cat is out of the bag so to speak.

I was just pointing out that I don't believe that particular scene to be about SDM. Not directly anyway. It is bad writing. This love triangle is ruining the show honestly.

Lets break it down:
1) Stupid parent feud leading to divorce.. with ridiculous reasons.
2) Sister feud for stupid reasons even though they were supposedly best friends.
3) Grandma perpetuating a stupid lie WAY beyond a reasonable time frame.
4) Rich prick CEO step father that will do anything to anyone to get his way.
5) A father that left the scene of an accident without getting medical attention after being hit by a car?? (it's just a flesh wound)
6) A mother that had no problem abandoning one of her daughters without contact for... 15 years?!
7) A smart coder that is completely socially inept and seemingly few other skills other than math.
8) An accomplished VC manager that is also somewhat of a social idiot who though being successful is completely empty inside.
9) A girl that is trying to succeed on the shoulders of her father to prove that he was a good guy.

Am I wrong to think that only Grandma is the noble person in this story.. regardless of mistakes?
I don't think the story is going to get much prettier from here. We already know Grandma is going blind. If everyone dies in the end, it could be a proper Greek Tragedy!

Sorry, it is pretty crappy to fight over a girl especially with dishonesty. They should all end up with nobody or different people completely. SDM's expectations are pretty ridiculous too.

I will steal a line from a movie for the poor departed Mr Seo to his ex-wife.. "your husband ain't dead lady, he's hiding!"

They used it because he was in the paper.. all proud of his accomplishment even though he has been living off of it.. it was a lie, he stole the answer.. Sorry, don't like the character of NDS much either.. but the show wants the two "pretty people" to be together no matter what. Unfortunately the lies are eating up the story now. Unfortunately SDM is now using blackmail for funding for their program too. Starting to see too much "taint" on the characters. The plot has gone South and I am not sure it is worth redeeming at this point in time. At least the story now shows NDS to be a habitual liar. I have a feeling that the person who wants to get even is there for NDS. The other possibility IMO is Won Sang Soo for WIJ.

Lying to someone because you want to sleep with them is not a good intention. I agree with Kimsamsoon, both are bad.

HJP only said that after NDS went into a tirade that his only redeeming quality is that he is rich. He also implied that he doesn't deserve anything because he is rich. NDS is jealous of HJP's accomplishments, and HJP is jealous of NDS family and of course SDM relationship. NDS doesn't know that HJP came from nothing.... much less than what he had.

Maybe HJP will self sacrifice like he has done all along for grandma. Even NDS now knows that HJP will do anything and everything for Grandma because of "a debt that no money can solve" confession from earlier. Whatever the case... it doesn't look good for a romantic happy ending for HJP.

Finally the lies are starting to unravel and SDM is showing that she has the fortitude needed to take charge. I even saw sympathy from WIJ about a REAL family member. This was the best episode in quite a while.

Maybe somehow attached to the jumper? Could be. She is the one to focus in on the "to get revenge" note on the board.

There is an age difference between HJP and SDM too. Unlikely to make them closer as well.

The difference is, HJP isn't lying to get with the girl. Sorry, I just don't find it that romantic. I already know that SDM and NDS are going to be together.. just an ugly way to get there.

I am not disappointed. HJP was the first one to want to come clean, and NDS clearly said NO. NDS clearly also started lies to keep close to SDM. Remember "I can speak for him" Add another lie. He didn't want her to ask HJP for the truth. Remember "We are like brothers" add another lie. I know he is the main lead, but he is clearly also lying.

I know that HJP and SDM aren't going to end up together, the kiss made that clear as well as the confession to heart flutter. NDS is clearly a liar though. All the lies aren't perpetuated by Grandma and HJP. NDS isn't noble either. I don't loathe NDS, but I find his tactics with the girl a bit slimy. When HJP wanted him to come clean.. he should've done just that. I am sure he will show more redeeming qualities ahead, but they all might end up single! lol I think the writer should've left out the "love triangle" It would make the story flow a bit better. FYI, I am not rooting for SDM and HJP to be together.. I would just like to see him get some kind of happy ending. It isn't appealing to watch a dog get kicked in every single episode. ha!

On the other hand, what is NDS going to say? I lied to you because Grandma started it and she wanted good boy to watch over you? I continued lying so I could be better than those letters. That is going to be one ugly relationship builder.. haha! Also, he manipulated Grandma's lie for his own success. There certainly no perfect characters in this Drama. Even SDM wants to get to the top floor and flaunt it in front of her sister. Too many angry characters!

He is rude, but remember he was raised in an orphanage without any parents and obviously without much love. He was kicked out into the street without being able to even open a banking account to get a place. When grandma tried to reach out to him during his temper tantrum over his perceived loss of money, he told her he didn't have the luxury of feeling s of trust or sentiment. He had to grow up in a dog eat dog environment. I think it is that upbringing that makes him like that.. Emotionally detached and very defensive about people getting close to him. In the office when Grandma is looking for him, they even acknowledge that he never passes out his card to people. . Emotionally, he really is a bit of a sad sack.

@Yaman Asali: Cyrano de Bergerac! lol But that is a play not a KDrama! At least Grandma acknowledged that his life (HJP) sucked and she wished she could've made it better for him. She is really the only one in the story that ever showed love towards him.

I don't know who it is, but he was trolling around either WIJ office or SDM office. I think he is out for one of them. .. possibly an issue with NDS from long ago. We haven't seen many skeletons from his closet yet.

Ah yes, kick the orphan while he's down. He never deserved anything anyway. I guess it is fitting that the only one in the story that grew up with the least amount of love is getting the least amount of love in return. If they wanted to get him out of the way gently, then SDM should've chosen Alex to be the mentor. Actually, none of them should end up together.

How well did NDS know SDM? Not at all. If not for HJP, he wouldn't have even made the storyline. This is where I differ from your opinion, I don't think a good person would make up lie after lie to play with a woman's emotions and try to be with her.. That is a bit sick IMO. Now that all his lies have her worked up.. he wants to tell the truth.. or he SAYS he does. What does interest me is why WIJ hasn't said anything about HJP. She also knows that he covered for NDS but has never said a word about it. I don't know about this storyline. I hope it picks up soon. They are adding too many side story lines. If NDS and SMD are to do well, the lies need to stop. They are the ugliest part of this story.

I can't agree more about that kiss scene. Not exactly a "romantic" moment in the story! It is starting to become painfully obvious that none of the 3 leads in this story have dated or dated much! It is nearly comedic!

Don't forget, earlier you said that HJP doesn't have feelings for SDM. You have already been proven wrong at LEAST once! lol. I either watch the whole thing, or if it gets bad enough.. just stop watching it entirely. That said, it doesn't mean that it is a good storyline.

Oh yes, it is SO romantic how NDS has lied his way into SDM life and even attacked the original letters. He is a real class act.. I hope every woman can experience a relationship like that.. (insert sarcasm) haha! It is hard to be a fan of a manipulator.
