Oooh Orange Days is an old one, but it's really good. One of those dramas that has stood the test of time.

The teaser is just that - a tease. They're not gonna carry through with it. They just want to create the illusion of high stakes.

(maybe I watch too many thrillers, where even then the main characters rarely die, but the mystery here is like a goofy ghost story - something to pretend to be scared of, then laugh about)

I can see perhaps a life-altering injury happening. But even then, the drama would have to take quite the melodramatic turn for this, so it's a stretch.

This drama won't kill their lead characters. I don't believe it. It's nowhere near dark enough for that.

This story is gonna be about her rising to the challenge, I know it. Her character needs to start somewhere, then we'll get some satisfying growth.

What a sinister grandma! Makes sense, given her position, but she's giving me chills. A good antagonist in a historical is a must. This drama has achieved it.

This wouldn't be a hidden gem if it were actually accessible.

Finally, episode 7 is here... but I'm almost too anxious to press play.

"regular" looking - yes, lie straight to my face some more, drama, I won't believe you, honest.

Oh she was brilliant! I hope she gets some main roles soon.

It's similar, but not based off of those though. I'd also like to add: some elements of Criminal Minds has really not aged well, and though some episodes are okay, I really don't recommend watching all of them.

I would've binged this, if I wasn't forced to wait for each episode to air. I agree, it's brilliant, my favourite drama this year, but while the ending is open-ish, I would argue that the story is completed. Song Ha Young's final line in the final episode summed up the whole thing. I'm pretty sure we won't be getting a season 2 (I also, personally, don't want one)

Because this is set in 2019, there's gonna be a time-skip isn't there?

The discussion about consent is great, absolutely brilliant. If you feel like powering through because of the leads, you might get some enjoyment. Just expect an awful lot of fluff. Sometimes watchable fluff, sometimes incredibly average fluff.

It has some great moments, like that discussion about consent (absolutely brilliant!) and then... some really, really average episodes. Yes, whiplash is a good way to describe it.

I don't put much, or any, weight on the scores. It's why I don't ever bother rating things.

I'd like her more if she were more effective at it. She could have heightened the tension in the whole story, making it more engaging. It was such a missed opportunity.

I think that might be what a lot of people like about it. It's way over the top, and so very serious about it.

Nah I think they're pretty decent. I'm not really on the edge of my seat, but it's a mostly pleasant watch.
