why do yall hate the sml so much, yeah he's around the fl a lot but you can tell by her behavior that she's not…
Because he is displaying a lot of red flags. He is not taking her very clear "No." seriously. He seems to be the kind of person who can get nasty if being nice doesn't work. He is the kind of person I would steer clear of irl. Therefore, I really don't like him.
Another thing is I hate love triangles, and the ML and FL have a very pleasant dynamic. So the SML is to me, just a waste of precious screen time. I'd much rather focus on the leads, or explore the interesting side characters.
I love this drama. Kind of. The first few eps were absolutely brilliant. When it was airing, I couldn't wait for the subtitles, so I watched it raw first, then again when the subs came out. But.
This should have been 12 eps. The magic of the opening episodes... does not last. In the second half, the pace slows and the story drags.
Watching now, for the 3rd time. Hopefully I don't drop it again. I really want to finish it for once.
This drama is good, I'm surprised that in 2019 it made little to no noise. It's one of the few series of Lee Junho…
I watched it while it aired, and yeah, it was pretty quiet, though not silent. It was also kind of hard to track down. I um, had to resort to less-than-legal means to watch it, because I just couldn't find it licensed anywhere. Dramas make much bigger waves when they reach more audiences.
Have you watched up to episode 3? Because the second woman was murdered by someone else, and then the first murderer got arrested for another crime worth a life sentence. Arranged by the ML. That scene halfway through ep 3 never fails to give me chills.
I actually appreciated that for once, there was a lawyer defending someone who... well, didn't deserve that defence. It feels unrealistic when the protagonists only ever defend people who aren't guilty. And of course, if they're defending, they need to do their job.
Also this first case was used to establish that it is evidence, not guilt, that matters according to the law. Which is relevant to the main case of the whole drama.
Must be the oversaturation of legal dramas, but I'm not enjoying this. The ML has great comedic timing, I'll give him that, but the story feels quit boring. None of the other cast members are interesting.
I know this wants to keep the suspense thrilling but at the same time it's ruining the show every thing is happening…
Well, I agree Juhee is the most boring, but she just gave all her money away, her father is dead, and her brothers are a waste of space. She is going to be in for a huge wake-up call.
Someone suggest me some good fantasy dramas of 2022 it would be good if they are similar to Golden spoon
2022 really puts a huge limit on things. If you mean Kdramas (which mostly all I watch), there's only really been a handful this year, and they have been nothing like this one. The only other ones I've enjoyed have been Ghost Doctor and From Now On, Showtime! and tonally, they are not like Golden Spoon at all, as they are much more light-hearted.
I hope the romance between SeungChan and Juhee doesn't work out, because once they (particularly Juhee) grow out of their idealistic youth, they'll be miserable together.
Also I find Juhee pretty boring as a character, and though I'm pretty bad at spotting it, I spy no chemistry between them at all. I feel nothing when watching them interact.
Now YeoJin and Seungchan. Heh, they're a delightful mess. I kind of want to see that catastrophe happen.
I'm not sympathizing with the male lead at all ,,, even when he returned to his original place ,, I don't feel…
Hm. I like him, but in a way that I would also be perfectly fine watching him crash and burn. I like how unlikable he is. How he's not really a good person. How he's intelligent and jaded, but also young and inexperienced.
He is a sympathetic character for me, because I experienced (mild) poverty growing up, so I know what it's like to not afford all the food you need. To be jealous, just enough to put you on edge, of you well-off friends and their shiny new things, all while embarrassed of your own second hand things. It's such a human thing to feel, and such an ugly thing too.
Seungchan is basically an incredibly exaggerated example of this, just as Taeyong is by contrast, the opposite. So I don't like the ML as a person, in part because I sympathise most with the ugly parts of him. This is what makes him such an interesting character and protagonist. Also, this is not an attempt to make you sympathise. I'm simply attempting to add to the conversation.
I do hope Taeyong learns what's going on soon though. He really doesn't deserve this confusion.
The spoon "Yeojin" threw into the lake was actually hers, as she no longer had need of it. The one hidden in her vase was Seungchan's, which she'd secretly stolen. Taeyong is going to remember it and accidentally use it, thus resulting in a switch.
Not sure how likely this would be, but it would be a pretty interesting turn of events.
