When did wu lei play constantly with much older women tho? The most he did was one with Raba when she was late 20s ☠️ . I am saying about the constituency of her characters and I think a what 2 middle age men and a couple of early thirty men or her peers like wu lei and that guy from hidden love, close in age or same age in real life but she is 14/15 in the one with wu lei (which was why I didn't bother with Pt 2 idc if it's ancient China if he can be 20 something she can be at least 18) and hidden love needless to say she knew him since she was 13 her older brother friend. For this drama let's just say the massive age gap is not a problem but do they look good together or the age difference is very clear? He looks like he is a father to be honest and the age gap is very apparent, he did not age gracefully. To be fair she did try a new thing with wang yu the last immortal, but it was a low budget drama no one could have saved this drama. Do you think her and the old ml look compatible tho? If yes, why so? I am genuinely curious
Zhao lusi entire career is based on her being with much older men, be it actual actors ages or characters. she is mid twenties acting with two middle aged men, imagine if the roles were reversed and a top young actor acted with a middle aged woman, I know none would leave them alone lmao.
