How about we are more flexible and realistic. I have about 10 drama that have been ruined by unexperienced pretty faces that couldn't carry a drama. Plus the theme of this drama doesn't seem like an idol costume drama names like tian wei have also done many costume drama (as per your criticism) I don't think any c actress has not done one by the way, point being she is not a good actress, she is passable.. I don't have a problem if she is casted or any of the "fresh faces" but that would just be another unserious, mediocre drama. My pick is yangzi and if not from the new rising actresses the young lady from a journey to love, sadly she is not big enough tho but damn can she act!

S1 is so much better quality wise and characters wise. S2 is more cartoonist with bad writing, cheaper budget and amnesia trope that made the FL a lovestruck teen that only purpose is the ml and well turns out to fall easily in love so much that he doesn't care who is she by the end of the series, probably forgot mudeok already and latched to the new pretty girl.. So yeah if you like those thing you should start with this one. If you like a good drama start with s1 and stop there

1- she really did get swayed by YW and is about to do a 180 like yw
2- she is having doubts about the short time frame but will work
through them
with jh, I think they were both very cautious in the beginning so they don't really have much time left, you can say yes they knew each other in the house but they weren't romantically interested in each other, at least not fully and I think dating and knowing each other is diffrent so I can see it as a reasonable thought.
That's why I will form a more firm opinion after tomorrow's episode
