Man for someone who is done, you sure have a lot to say. Well I hope there are a lot of people like me but unfortunately there are ugly male idols out there that bring the group down hopefully we get rid of them :) as for talent, a good looking talented idols is the actual all rounder someone like Kai from EXO for example. That's the whole package. The problem with you is that you won't acknowledge visuals as a skill but an idol need to draw you in before you even consider watching him. Talented but ugly? Don't be an idol.. I do care about talent by the way but is it above visuals? No.

We don't have biases reading your comment and he is almost 40 and does look older, as for the 2nd ml he looks late 20s too just like the FL and if both played as highschooler I wouldn't question it either. Everyone has preferences, personally I like couples who look good together and not too far apart in age. Even if we can close an eye on their apparent age difference, there is also how mature and stoic the male lead is, compared to how childish and youthful the FL is for example. That's why I prefer the sml over the ml. You might like older casts for me it defends, as long as there no big age gaps and the two look good together sure

Also I feel like it's good that people like janhee get a reality check and start going on another career path this early on.. There are a lot of visuals because that's what sells I mean the albums and photocards. I find people who think that men don't need to be good looking quite pathetic and huge pick mes. What is an idol someone people idolize and look up to, they are not called dancers, they are not called singers they are called idols they need to dance and sing sure but more importantly they need the Stan factor

Yeah don't really care about all of that. Visuals are a skill too and they do matter, if you have a sympathy syndrome for ugly/fat male idols/trainees don't expect other people to think the same. Ofc an idol should be good looking it's part of their job whether you like it or not.

Can be watched separately. However there will some mention of previous characters in the series like the guy named trash for example. But you can watch them in whatever order you want to as the stories are not related but have the same concept and some of the same actors like mom and dad

It's this combination plus their natural age gap that make them appear so far in age and therefore don't look as good together and honestly put him as her dad and I wouldnt question it
