In modern dramas what always bothers me is how sickly thin the actresses are and I am not used to that so I mostly don't watch them 😭

I love both but Chinese drama can drift into the annoying territory I remember 2023 I watched none and 2024 I watched the double, love you forever and destined. The pairings in cdramas are often awful honestly only young girls that are mostly paired with older men and the actresses are really young some are 19 ☠️☠️ or below which is crazy to me. The age gaps are "are you her dad" age gaps and there is no viceversa people freak the hell out when the actress is even slightly older than the ml. It's a very creepy industry.. I love the gems it's produces but I can live without it if I had to choose. I like Koreans dramas because they have what none of the other Dramas lands have noona romances and older actress being very active and very good.
