I watched love me love my voice and I absolutely hated that drama! An old man goes to a young girl who he doesn't know and gives her her number and he is an old virgin.. He is an accomplished surgeon or doctor I don't remember and he hosts a radio show and she is his fan. Her character is just a pretty vase there was such a power imbalance between them from him being far more successful and her still being a student and the age gap.. That it felt so predatory and creepy! not to mention all they did was eat food and chill.. I don't blame Zhou ye at all about it, the drama itself is trash.. No one could have saved it! I think it made it into my 2024 worst drama list

Maybe we are not all anti fans.. Maybe just maybe she just doesn't suit the character??? Just a thought. Also the people checking this are not checking it for the actress but rather the writer since she has come up with hits that I personally enjoy a lot "the double" is my all time favorite cdramas and the glory is great. So most people come from that including me! I don't hate or love Zhou ye, I liked her in the drama with lin yi. It's not about her but the character!!

That's why the story shines more when unknown or non traffic actors who actually suit the character play like "the double" and "the glory" can't imagine any other actresses playing these roles. I do because her body changed which is fine.. She is the original naksu but then even her soul changed. What'snot changed? . And the change is a dumb childish damsel in distress that is nothing like mudeok. The relationship between the leads in s1 was reduced to not much.. He fell for a complety new woman. It's sad and honest even sadder than she is just useless and he has all the power. Ahh the more I remember the more I really really dislike this sequel and the character.

I really hope with all my heart that they let go of the 14 yr old bs. The character doesn't have to be 14 she can be 20-25 and the actress 30 or late 20 here you go! This is 2025 most dramas now prefer an adult character at the very least 18. So spare me a 14 yr old character in any Roman e and I don't care if that's ancient China or whatever, she can be 20 and I would still it's ancient China just like the double. Ngl the actress playing the FL ruins it for me. She just doesn't have the charisma same happened with love of the divine tree. Just another popular traffic actress that doesn't have the charisma or acting skills or looks to potray the character. But well that doesn't seem to matter to cdrama audience. For me it takes more than a young pretty face 🤷

My cast would be dilraba for fl or another unknown actress that isn't under 28 and the ml cheng li or another rising actor who is yet to have a breakthrough

Lmao all of these actresses have done historical dramas so fresh faces my a$$! So not only are they already in historical drama. Some of them can't act to save their lives and are just too young for my liking. Would absolutely hate it and wouldn't watch it if the rookie untalented actresses played this.
