I really enjoyed this drama. However, something was missing. I don't know, but I feel like the intense love that the drama was trying to portray fell short because the leads had zero chemistry. The princess stole the show for me. She was the reason I kept watching the last few episodes.
If you are going according to mydramalist main leads, then no. If you are going according to the novel mean leads…
I understand. However, not everyone knows the story background. Some just come onto MDL to check who are going to be the leads of the drama. I give the answer I did because I didn't want the person asking to be disappointed when they start the drama and realise that the FL on MDL is not the same as the story. If you scroll down in the comment section you will see others complaining because Mu Yu Mo is not the lead when she is clearly listed as they lead on MDL.
MDL does not only do their casting list based on the actors billing. They also do it according to how important they are to the storyline. Mu Yu Mo was an important character, but if she was removed from the story it would not make a big different, mostly because she didn't have that much screen time to begin with. Bai He Huai is a far more important character to the storyline. If she was removed they story would make no sense.
I don't want to start a back and forth discussion over this. I just answered the commenter they way I did to save them from being disappointed.
wow, a very crazy summary of the first two episodes but I beg to differ.first of all the younger brother didn't…
No need to apologise, it's just banter in the comment section. Yes, I have watched My Lovely Girl. It's one of my favourite dramas. However, I must agree that the last few episode wasn't the best. I'm more into Cdramas these days.

If you just scroll up a bit you will see that the FL according to MDL is Mu Yu Mo. This is the reason for my earlier comment. Bai He Huai is not the the FL according to MDL. I hope this explains things.

I understand where you are coming from with the siblings element. However, I have to respectfully disagree with with your statement "even I don't like the drama if the girl in the relationship goes somewhere and changes her heart when his boyfriend is not a jerk." The reason I disagree with this statement is because it is implying that even if the girl doesn't love her current boyfriend, she should stay with him because he is not a jerk. A relationship like that would benefit no one. The girl would be miserable and so would the boy. In a situation like that it would be best if both parties broke up and find someone who they love, and who loved them back. Feelings can't be forced, and trying to love someone you don't would be very tiring.
If you are going according to mydramalist main leads, then no. If you are going according to the novel mean leads then yes, but at the very end. Just so you know there are no kiss scenes. However, that doesn't take away from the beauty of the drama.
I can't get past the 2nd episode of WDBTD, I heard so many good things about it but the FL seems to be too cutesy.…
That's what I thought at first, but it does get better. And she's suppose to be lazy. In the novel her character is very laidback and lazy. The storyline is very disjointed, but the chemistry of the lead is really good. The storyline in Love in the clouds is far better. And the female lead in LITC acted her ass off.
True, she could have just told him — but from her point of view, everything she did was built on lies, making…
I understand where you are coming from. However, he gave her a lot of opportunities to tell him the truth. She figured out a long time ago that he wasn't the one who poisoned her. He already knew that she was lying to him about who she was. He covered for her when they tried to kill her spirit pet and capture her. He asked her to be truthful with him about who she is. However, she choose to lie to him telling him that she is MX fiancé. At that moment, she preferred to hurt him than tell him the truth. She could have just tell him the truth. She already established that he loved her. Why lie?
Regarding the golden millet dream, she should have give him the choice. Yes, he wanted to honour his master, but he would have saved her life. Instead she slept with him, then went into his spirit well and try to steal the golden millet dream, knowing that he will know she's the one who stole it.
I've seen this type of drama done way better. I'm not saying a hated it. I'm just saying it was very frustrating to watch. Their acting was brilliant, but I couldn't deal with all the lies and deceit.
On episode 2 of Fated Hearts, and I'm not so sure their hearts are Fated. I can forgive a lot of things, but torture is not one of them. I'm still going to continue, but it's not looking good guys. If she decides to kill him I would celebrate with her.
Okay, so I'm on chapter 18 now and I've noticed a few more differences in the novel. It would seem that in the…
No problem. I just enjoyed the drama so much that I had to read the novel. I often read the novels of dramas I enjoyed. I've finished watching Love in the clouds. I enjoyed it, but I didn't like all the lies and deceit between the leads. Their chemistry was good, but it wasn't great. The storyline flowed better than WDBTD, but the leads chemistry in WDBTD made up for everything.
Just finished watching this drama and here are my thoughts. Firstly, I only watched this drama because people where comparing it to When destiny brings the demon. Whoever said this drama compared to WDBTD in anyway needs their eyesight checked. Although this was an okay watch, it was no where near as good as WDBTD, in my opinion of course. All the lies and deceit gave me a headache. She could have just told him who she way and why she approached him. Instead, she kept it a secret and made one stupid decision after the next.
The beginning was nice. They both knew that they were using each other, and their interaction was brilliant. However, the chemistry in WDBTD is far better. I struggle to feel the leads chemistry in this drama. I've seen both act separately with other people, and have better chemistry. I just don't think they had that much chemistry with each other. However, when they did those dramatic crying and dying scenes they were brilliant. Overall, it was okay, but I wouldn't compare it to WDBTD even though the storyline flowed better in this drama. The chemistry between the leads in WDBTD was off the charts. In this drama, to me it felt like the leads were acting. However, in WDBTD it felt natural. I felt like I was intruding on the leads private time together instead of a drama.
I did enjoy this drama, but it doesn't have rewatch value for me. But this is just my opinion.
