Summit of Our Youth starts off like hot chocolate on a snowy day ☕❄️ sweet, warm, and full of crackling…
I really enjoyed this drama. As you said, the chemistry was really great. However, it did have a kind of separation. When she found out that he too was from the future, she avoided him for a while. Although he keeps pursuing her, they did have that little annoying separation, which I thought was unnecessary. Apart from that, it was really good until it got to the end, and then it got annoying again.
To everyone who decided to give us that stupid ending. May your pillow always be warm on both sides. May the last page of every book you read be missing. May you always forget why you walked into the room. May you always step in a puddle while wearing fresh socks. May you always brush past your soulmate in a crowd, and never know it was them.
Because, what do you mean, you made me invest only to give me that ending? I need answers, and I need them now!! Is she dead? Is she alive? Please, you can't leave me hanging like this. How am I supposed to move on? I need closure. How am I supposed to get closure? I need someone to recommend another drama like this with a definite happy ending, or I don't think I'll ever be able to move on.
The ML also had flaws that contributed negatively to their relationship, e.g. keeping important things from her…
I never said he didn't have any flaws. He was a pathological liar who only wanted the FL because she wasn't weak. And he turned into a weak puppy once he and the FL entered into their contracted relationship. My problem is not with the actress per se; it's with the script. First off, they didn't trust each other, so it would have been unreasonable for me to expect them to open up to each other and tell secrets. However, not trusting each other did not give the FL the right to be rude and ungrateful. Secondly, I criticized the romance angle of this drama. I said that the romance is unnecessary, and I still agree with this statement. Thirdly, when it comes to acting, the ML is far better trained. I'm not saying the FL is terrible; I'm saying she needs more depth. She needs more training, and she needs to work on her facial expression because at the moment she only has two or three.
So, when you are talking about double standards, you can't be talking about me.
From beginning to end, I couldn't find any reason why the leads should be together. The FL did not deserve the ML. She was unredeemable in my eyes. Not once in the entire show did she trust the ML, and I lost count of the number of times she stabbed him.
I don't if it is just me but kdramas have changed alot over time or i have matured. I loved the romantic kdramas…
If you want to find which has changed, either you or the dramas, go back and watch the old dramas and see if you still enjoy them as you did before. You will get your answer after this. However, I do think Kdramas have changed. I seldom watch Kdramas these days; I mostly watch historical Cdramas.
I'm not a nun. I can't watch all that chemistry and no kissing. May she never get a romance role again cause i…
I understand your frustration. She acted in The Seven Relics of Ill Omen, and I felt like it would have been better without the romance. The ML acted really well, but something was just off with her acting in the romance department. Let's just say I won't be watching any more romance dramas with her as the lead.
Eish, should have read reviews before watching. As a self professed lover of romance, I was flabbergasted when…
AASOL is a romance drama done extremely well. The way the ML looked at the FL had me blushing. I almost forgot that they were acting, and I felt like I was intruding on their private time.
He did a pretty good job in romance here if you want kiss so that's your problem not every romance drama need…
Fangs of Fortune was not that great. The ML and all other side characters carried that drama on their backs. The FL, I didn't even know why she was there. Her acting was not that great, and the romance was meh. I agree with Sanoya; Ren Jia Lun needs to stop doing romance dramas and do other roles. He clearly has boundaries, so he needs to stop doing dramas that require him to cross those boundaries.
This actress plays one character in all her dramas. I would like to see her in something like Prisoner of Beauty. The actress in Prisoner of Beauty usually plays these cute and mischievous characters as well, but I gained so much more love and respect for her when I saw her in Prisoner of Beauty. This is when her acting skills shine.
I'm so upset with the writers. They killed everyone, the entire gang. I enjoyed this until ep 35; then it went downhill from there. And what was that ending with the kids? Was that supposed to make us feel better? I'm so conflicted with my feelings right now. I don't know if I should rate this down or up.
