I wonder what was Van in the end? Was he only a tool to ease their life until they have completed the barrier?…
Yeah. Even squid game's maker said he didnt want to make another season and then another was planned because of the fans. Hellbound had an open ending but it was only a couple of months later that another season was announced
..... They revive Van.However, Van was tired and he wished for rest.So... urg... No, thanks....Seriously, what's…
If van was truly sick of living, he would not have cried at the thought of being sealed, he wouldn't have told gungtan that he's desperately trying to live as a human. I don't buy it. Van's last thoughts were of mi ho. He wanted to live as a human next to her. The makers can easily bring him back. It's not impossible, there are enough possible plot points to do so
Did anyone else found that marble story too ridiculous and OTT? The concept of a bit of it being thrown into van's…
The marble was mentioned pretty early on in part 2 though so i wouldn't say it was thrown in. Plus obviously there was something in her core that was giving her that power so i did not think it was necessarily that far fetched

The next season won't be announced so soon lol. Squid game and hellbound had seasons announced much much later. Even all of us are dead was confirmed for another season a few months after it had aired.

I don't necessarily agree with that assessment. There was some significance to the scene where we are shown both boys holding their respective daggers. One, the fact that van tamed his dagger faster than gungtan showed that he was more in touch with his humanity and two, the fact that the daggers became an extension of their beings. They are physically linked to the daggers and they repsond to their commands. The dagger shaking meant that van was calling for it. The dagger doesn't merely respond to evil. It alerts van to evil. Its an extension of the lust demon that exists within them which is why no one else can control it but them
I agree. There is so much story here and especially if we consider that the original story was turned into a webtoon…
Exactly. We've only just touched the tip of the ice berg here. It reminds me of hellbound, where so much was left unanswered and then unexpectedly it was renewed for another season. I just hope that happens here too.
Ugh i always have to wait till the next day because i haven't signed up and because im so frequently on call at…
You could be right, i wasnt sure if the dagger was van's dagger (given how they showed van's dagger right before the picture) or someone else. I think the greater darkness mi ho mentioned was probably the white robed guys, not any other bad guy. Because that young monk told yeom ji when she was young that the people she cares about will have to be brought back. That's van and gungtan, not some other bad guy
How is it a waste of a good actor? I’m pretty sure he’s getting perfectly good money and more experience and…
Nah i beg to differ. Yes bullying is a very serious issue. Never said it wasn't so i don't understand why you felt the need to remind of that. But I stick by my opinion, lee do hyun's character could have been done without and still would not have made much of a difference to the plot. In sweet home he played a vital role. Here not so much. But i respect your opinion.
Fingers crossed. My imagination is running wild with possible theories. Van being a darker version of himself, mi ho helping him overcome the lust demon. It could be epic, if they go for it
The difference is, he helped her revenge because he loved her AND she returned to him BECAUSE she loved him and…
But my point is that a couple that loves each other and thinks taking revenge for one another is a form of love, that couple can't be healthy. They are jumping from one revenge to another. What else is there in their relationship? It also didn't help that there was zero chemistry between them
I enjoyed the entire series normally they tank it in the last few episodes. I think it had a good conclusion and…
Agreed. There's already a heavy plot with the FL's bullying and revenge. Why add an unnecessary extra character with his own revenge arc which isn't directly linked to the main story?

His character brought nothing of significance to the show. Any one could have filled his shoes. Lee do hyun is one of my favourite actors among the new ones. But i honestly think he could have passed on this show. It didn't do justice to him. The rest of the cast had its place. He was very much out of place (his character i mean).
I may be the first to say this, but yeo jung and dong eun are a toxic couple. He helped her with revenge and now she will return the favour. That cant be healthy. What a waste of a perfectly good actor (lee do hyun)
I can't get over this drama 😭 tell me where to sign a petition or something so that we can get another season because you cant just end a show like that and not promise another season.
