I replay the scene from season 1 when van stabs himself at the last second. That entire scene is so intense and kim nam gil's acting makes it a 1000× times better. Like when he comes back to himself and the way he takes a step back, looks at his hand like he can't believe it. The look of self loathing. And later when mi ho goes to look for him. The smile she gives him when she finally finds him. That and their first real conversation in mi ho's room are my favourite season 1 scenes.
Van being all "i met a demon with a shady look like yours" 🤣

He's kinda scary though! The softly threatening way he says "hurry up, else I'll have to talk to your granny" brrr gave me the shivers. He's an excellent villain

I think it's particularly scary because we all have those dark thoughts some times. The fact that the demon used those thoughts to control people was scary

I don't know, i think i prefer him thrillers like this. You know, all action, horror and gore with just the right hint of romance 🤣 like the drama Train (an OCN show that is so underrated)

I also loved how he went from calling his life painful and wanting to die TO wanting to live. When he told gungtan that i must save her so that i can live I was like awwww our boi wants to live, please dont kill him!

Sorry to say this but you are definitely in the minority here. But that's fine, ive often found myself in the minority as well. Doesn't mean you aren't entitled to your viewpoints

Won mi ho and suryeon would have been the most susceptible to the suicide demon. And gungtan knew precisely who to target first in order to get to mi ho.
Being vulnerable and having moments of self loathing don't make you weak. It makes you human. You dont need to have a woman saving everyone just to make a point that women can be powerful too. It simply would not have made sense if mi ho had been the only one not to succumb and save the day. She was particularly weak after suryeon's death. Plus mi ho is going to be the one to ultimately save the world. So who cares if she ends up getting saved a couple of times?

It's definitely paying off because the show is doing very well internationally

I absolutely loved his acting in through the darkness! He's rapidly making it to my list of favourite actors. I'll basically watch anything he is in at this point.

Him going berserk was long time coming. I could feel it building up in him. He has literally tried everything at this point and keeps getting pushed back. He's gonna become more agitated, and with that his lust demon will control him more. He's losing what little remains of his humanity.
As for the people, i believe it's implied that it isna cult of people who follow him for attaining a greater power. They don't know that means becoming a lust demon monster

Im glad koreans are loving it even if this page has a lot of negativity. And according to various media outlets, the show is topping amazon prime in several countries.
I have this gut feeling that a lot of people came just for one actor and are used to a different kind of show (more rom com than thriller). Could be wrong, but many comments say the same thing which makes me think i may be onto something after all.
I just hope the show ends well. With a happy ending for our main couple. it would be lovely if they make a season 3. Or even a special episode.

You may be onto something there. I wrote in my comment as well that i fee like yeom ji is going to be pretty important. Wouldn't it be interesting if your theory is true and gungtan finds out that he's had her right next to him?

I dont know, he seems pretty charismatic to me. Especially when he's being petulant, like not driving. Threatening to cut johan in half. Stuff like that makes him seem like a prickly porcupine when he's actually just a softie

Yess i agree with you, regarding both yeom ji and mi ho.
It must be so hard for mi ho. To be constantly compared to a past self you cant remember. To have to live up to a past self you dont even recognise. No wonder she was so messed up in the recent two episodes. It would drive any body crazy.
