I just completed it and I liked it. It's such a shame that they canceled it because it had potential for at least one more season. And they even introduced Suda Masaki character damn :/
I loved it! Their chemistry and acting were super good and I enjoyed the story too. This will be one of my comfort shows! I wonder how many volumes of the manga they adapted, I would love to see a second season <3
Their acting is so freaking good omggg I saw them in another drama before so I knew it but they IMPROVED which is insane, they were already good. War was definitely outstanding!
Edit: Oh it was definitely one of the best bl dramas that I saw in 2024! Hopefully, we will get another drama with a good plot for them in the future!
Does it have a happy ending? I'm scared to watch it after reading some comments... I'm not in a mood for a sad drama rn lol By happy ending I mean if the 2 male leads end up together? or maybe they end up with someone else? Please give me spoilers!
PondPhuwin are one of my fave bl pairings and imo it's a shame that they got this drama... it was so mid, and I feel that their story was the worst among all the couples. Never let me go was so good and their chemistry was amazing there, I feel that this is such a downgrade. There are 16 episodes and they could have presented us the story of all of the couples better, but I feel that in a lot of episodes, nothing was happening... The best part about this series was the friendship, so wholesome. Also, the actor who played Pun was so good, he is such a natural and deserves the main roles.
I love this adaptation so much that I will probably rewatch it just like the Japanese one - both are so GOOD. It's proof that you don't need many nsfw moments if the story, acting, and chemistry are great. I hope that other bl will finally learn from that. I'm so glad that this remake was a success. Also, I need Tay and New in a new project as soon as possible!
My wish is for the og actors to do a second season, I know that it's impossible, we even had problems with the first season since China banned it and the actors were apparently forbidden to even interact with eo after it aired, but damn, they were the perfect Gu Hai and Bai Luo Yin. It's hard to believe that for both of them, it was a debut drama, their chemistry and acting... insane. I just rewatched it after years and I need more :x
