Their romance is slow-burn, there are definitely sweet and affectionate moments/gestures, some are subtle while some are more obvious, but not many explicit romantic scenes/skinship. But the development of their romance is well done, imo.

He is very manipulative, without remorse, and loves only himself. He made my blood boil many times in these last 5 episodes. Yu En Tai did a good job portraying his character.

Good exposition! I too firmly believe that it is a happy ending, not an open one. I feel like I need to rewatch this (at least certain episodes) to catch details that I may have missed, since I binge-watch many episodes.

It's his way to get back at her for rejecting his marriage proposal.

I finished "The Glory" last night, and what a ride the last 5 episodes have been!  So many thoughts on my mind about this drama, but what I can say for now is, I'm satisfied with how they ended it. Everything tied up nicely, and if ever there are loose ends (can't think of any right now), it's minor and does not affect my enjoyment of the drama. Chen Du Ling, Xin Yun Lai, Yu En Tai, Wen Zheng Rong, Huang Bo Si (as the adorable Ah Zhi, she should get an award for best child star!) and the rest of the cast did great! There are sweet moments between the main couple, but their romance in general is quite slow-burn and subdued. More romantic displays of their affection is very much welcome, but I'm still happy with how the drama portrayed their relationship's progress. Overall, I highly recommend this!

Yes! I think he's good at playing the two-faced, manipulative Zhuang Shi Yang.

Well deserved and congratulations to the entire team behind "The Glory"! Both Chen Du Ling and Xin Yun Lai derserves the praises 👏. I've seen CDL in other dramas and she can act. I'm quite impressed with her performance here.

Same sentiment here. I feel the tension and subdued emotions between them. I'm enjoying and loving this one so far.

Chen Du Ling did so well in this drama, IMO. I love her portrayal! I'm so hooked on this show right now. I really hope the drama adaptation will have a happy ending.
I haven't started "Si Jin" but it's on my watchlist.

Zhuang Shi Yang is a master manipulator! He's insidious and cunning/creepy (阴险狡诈). Kudos to Yu En Tai for his portrayal.

Ah Zhi is such a sweet and loving child.
She is so innocent, and yet also mature for her age.
