Episode 25 is a good one. I'm glad they are finally married! It's like the culmination of all the hardships and trials, as well as the joys and victories that they've experienced in their journey - from Yongningfu to Ganlin and now in the capital.
In episode 27, I like how Fu/Xie Ting Yun and Zhao Ling work together to implement a plan with the emperor's approval and make a comeback. The plan allowed the emperor and GED to stop the building of the imperial tomb for the GED while saving their faces and dignity.
FTY's father just sunk down to an all-time low with what he did in episode 28. He's not only pathetic and infuriating, he's also a scumbag!
I stopped at episode 30 a few days ago 'coz I was waiting for all the remaining episodes to air. Now it's time to continue!
She minces no words, especially with Fan Ya Ke. I like what she said to her in ep 22:

Ah right, I remember that scene where Commander Wang and Zhao Ling are talking after he killed Lu. I think that explains why Wang didn't penalize ZL for killing Lu, but even promoted him.
Finished episode 15 last night. I'm excited to see how Zhao Ling and Fu Ting Yun's (or should we call her Xie Ting Yun at this point) relationship will progress and how they're going to deal with Yu Jing Xiu in the succeeding episodes 👍.
Other thoughts: In episode 14, I did not expect Zhao Ling to actually kill Lu Da Hu, since he's already heavily wounded and disabled (残疾), and most probably will be like that for life. I thought Zhao Ling will bring him to Commander Wang and let him penalize/deal with Lu according to their military rules and regulations. And before he does that, I half expected Fu Ting Yun or Madame Wang to stop Zhao Ling from killing him, because he does not need to soil his hands with Lu's blood (I'm imagining the scene).
Ep 8: I'm glad that our girl Fu Ting Yun is finally free from entanglements with Zuo Jun Jie. Good job to Jiu Ye/Zhao Ling for catching him and helping her out on this!
Ep 9: Fu Ting Yun's words to Fan Ya Ke nailed it: "Even without me, your days ahead will not be smooth."
I watched episode 1 a few days ago, didn't like it that much, so I switched to another drama. Then yesterday I decided to watch ep 2, and that's when I felt the momentum and started to like the story. Now I'm on ep 6, and the drama's getting more and more interesting 👍!
I finished this drama a few days ago. It got stuck in my PTW list for quite some time and I wish I had started it sooner! I like the drama's story, the characters and their development, relationships (romance, friendships, etc.) and other themes. Neo Hou and Zhou Ye are convincing as Tian Yao and Yan Hui, respectively. They are the right fit for the roles and I love their chemistry! Overall, this is an enjoyable watch for me 💖.
