I finished episode 13 last night. There are no boring moments or fillers, and the pacing and story's flow are…
In episode 10, when Xiao Wu Yi's eyesight faltered again in the competition, I like how Xie Jia Yu acted as his eyes by hitting the drums to guide and help him as he competes with Prince Ying. This shows their great partnership and chemistry. And I like how they ran to each other and embrace after their victory.
Li Le Jun may seem timid but she is actually a brave soul. I look forward to her development with Prince Ying, especially after he told her outright that he likes her, with or without the marriage alliance.
I finished episode 13 last night. There are no boring moments or fillers, and the pacing and story's flow are just right! Neo Hou, Ai Mi and the rest of the cast are doing great as they portray their characters π―.
Episode 7 is just brilliant! Love how Xiao Wu Yi foiled the empress dowager's plans and got the upper hand, and how Xie Jia Yu (a.k.a. Miao Shou Gong Zi) got vindicated π.
I've watched until episode 4 and I like the flow of the story and the plot twist π―. Neo Hou and Ai Mi have been portraying their characters quite well π.
I finally finished Ashes to Crown 2 days ago! I stopped after episode 17 because they were dropping one episode a day, which is slooow π’. So I decided to wait for all eps to air (and started 2 other series while waiting). The drama's frequency of switching alliances and mega-strategizing made my head spin a bit at some point π. It's fast-paced overall, but I find some developments to be slow. Despite these, they gave a satisfying wrap-up to the story, the visuals are good despite an over-abundance of red (which is my favorite color, but there were times I find that it's too much in the drama), and I like the chemistry between Chen Du Ling and Zhou Yi Ran. On top of that, I love the soundtrack! The music fits the drama so well.
I added this in my PTW list after watching the trailers! Glad to finally see Aimee in a lead role π. Just from the trailers alone, I can feel her chemistry with Neo Hou.
My friends have been recommending this, so I watched episode 1 last night and it's off to a good start. I'm done with episode 3, and the story's getting more interesting!
Ep 16 is one good episode! I like Chu Zhao's strategy of "Attack Wei to rescue Zhao" (ε΄ιζθ΅΅). Even though she and Xie Yan Fang did not plan this together, they were able to understand each other's intent, and thus, "cooperated" to make Xiao Nan Wang back off in his plan to attack the capital.
I like the scene where Xie Yan Lai seems jealous of Xie Yan Fang and Chu Zhao assured him she doesn't care about Xie Yan Fang's feelings π. I like Zhou Yi Ran's (as Xie Yan Lai) expressions in this scene.
I just watched MangoTV's special / extra episode for ASM! It's around 18 mins long, and it put together some scenes that were not shown in the original 40 eps π.
I'm finishing another drama and this one's next on my list! I hope to start Ashes to Crown tomorrow. This looks interesting just by the trailer and interviews. And I'm looking forward to see Chen Du Ling and Zhou Yi Ran play their characters π.
I finished ASM yesterday. The cast did a great job, and I especially like Ci Sha, Ren Min and Winwin! They were excellent in their roles. A special mention to Ci Sha, who gave a compelling portrayal of Chen Yan Yun π. I also like the supporting characters such as Qing Pu, Chen Yi, the young emperor, Gu Lan (I like her development) etc.
The main leads' romance is one of the strong points for me. Their chemistry is π₯. Their interactions feel so natural and real, and their intimate and romantic/sweet moments are a joy to watch! I also appreciate that they showed the family/social dynamics and political intrigue in the drama. However, I feel that they rushed through the ending. Would have been good to have more episodes (not sure if they are still constrained by the 40 episode rule) or an epilogue to tie up other parts of the plot. Despite this, I still find ASM to be a very good, enjoyable and entertaining drama overall β€οΈ.

I'm watching episode 2 and would stop after this since I need to finish some stuff. Same here, excited for this too!
I like the scene where Xie Yan Lai seems jealous of Xie Yan Fang and Chu Zhao assured him she doesn't care about Xie Yan Fang's feelings π. I like Zhou Yi Ran's (as Xie Yan Lai) expressions in this scene.
I like the BTS of Chu Zhao and Xie Yan Lai's first kiss (city wall kiss) π!
