I agree, he seems to be enjoying himself while playing Lin Shao Bai, and it comes naturally, like the role's made for him. I did enjoy DNAD 🙂.

I'm waiting for Chasing Dreams to air 😊. I might even resume TWOT, where I got stuck at episode 8.

After "Fated Hearts", I was looking for another Chen Zhe Yuan drama and decided to watch "Dark Night and Dawn". It's an engaging drama and I do not regret watching it 👍. His character here, Lin Shao Bai, is somewhat similar but also very different from Fated Heart's Feng Sui Ge. I'm impressed with his acting in both dramas! They show his range as an actor.

Just want to share this. I saw in another comments section that Qin Tian Yu (Sheng Di / Xia Jing Yan) is in The Starry Love 🥰! I had watched TSL but had forgotten that he was in it. Now I remember, he plays Di Lan Jue from the beast realm in TSL. No wonder he looks familiar!

I'm on ep 32, so only a few episodes to go! I like the drama's twist and turns, the fight scenes, and the main couple FSG and FYX, as well as the second couple. It's been a great ride and I'm eager to reach the finish line! 🥰

There is one memorable line in episode 4 that Feng Sui Ge said. It's also funny because of the way he said it:
"Whatever my brother gives me is mine, and whatever's mine is hers, so just use the best medicines on her." 😂

Finished episode 14 a while ago. The last couple of episodes have been great (the earlier episodes are very good as well), with many exciting reveals and excellent fight scenes. I'm really enjoying this drama!

I've watched the first 2 episodes and they're good! They already got me invested in the story. I like the action scenes, and the background music fits the mood of the scenes. Looking forward to the next episodes!

I just finished episode 7 and I like it! The pacing's just right, the story's interesting, and Song Wei Long and Bao Shang En have good chemistry 👍❤️!

I finished this drama last night. I like it and thoroughly enjoyed this one, as the suspense, pacing, acting and overall story got me really invested. Wang Xing Yue, Julia Xiang, Chen You Wei, Deng Kai, He Luo Luo and Zhang Nan gave good performances. I'm so glad I decided to watch this and was not swayed by some of the reviews!

I'm upset with the emperor's actions in the last 3 episodes, although he made up for them in the end.

Chu Zhao's manipulative acts are infuriating 😠.

And Yan He...😢😢

But overall, I'm happy that it ended on a good note for most.

I love how the story's going in ep 29 and 30. I'm glad that they finally had a proper kiss (not just one, but two)!
That duel scene during the Mid-Autumn banquet is just excellent. I like how He Yan used that as an opportunity to cast doubts on He Ru Fei's identity/abilities before all the officials. Her calmness and his agitation were giving him away.
And Xu Ping Ting is such an annoying brat.
