Yeah I don't understand why nobody is using them. It's a really good show though even if you've been spoiled, but people just really need to be respectful and hide huge plot points. It's extremely rude for everyone else.
The whole sleeping with his wife was never explicitly stated. He jumped to conclusions and the wife never said that's what actually happened, I don't believe any of that was the truth or real. I do think them even filming the scene was gross albeit, but I believe it's supposed to be a figment of his imagination run wild like Heo has been doing this while time.
And Heo isn't supposed to be a good person, that's the whole point. He wants the gossip on his rival, so that's why he continues to listen to the whole story without a second thought.
Another show with a FL having an obsession with an idol in an unhealthy manner. I don't understand why people keep watching this stuff. A lot of it is the reason idols and actors lives are miserable, always feeling suffocated and can't date or be who they want to be. They make it look as if it's okay to be overwhelmingly obsessed.

Thank you, this explanation helped me a lot. I totally got it now. I think I was so weirded out by that plot point I overlooked why it was there in the first place, but that makes 100% sense and is no different than everything else being purposely fake and jabs against Heo.

After seeing a handful of people's explanations and theories, I tend to agree. The motive must've been to imbed a jealousy in Heo, same as describing seeing Eunjoo and Se hun being intimate, so he could mess with heos wife and their relationship later on and make him angry plain and simple because he liked Eunjoo. Got it! haha
I'm beginning to think this is a very Niche type of show that only appeals to a smaller group of people. Genuinely shocked there's minimal discussion surrounding it. This is not something to be missed or go under the radar I can say that much.

I feel the same way. I waited a couple of days before binging due to being busy, but when I saw the score hadn't gone up after that period of time and still only 9K viewers for something with such high profile actors in it, I was expecting something mediocre. Instead I was pleasantly surprised at how well done it was. This was definitely the word you described it as, Cinema. There was a seriousness that the story was handled with that really gripped me, more than most Kdramas. The crew definitely put their hard work into this project and gave it their all. Lazy is the furthest thing from this show in my opinion.

9 from me, i'd rewatch in a heartbeat. I honestly feel a show like this requires multiple viewings too, so it's worth a watch for that alone in the sense that I'd even consider watching it again so quickly. Choi Hyun Wook did so so well, I knew it would at least be decent since he seems to be really great at picking projects.
Hats off for them pulling off a Play very well. I need more psychological thrillers in my life that are actually psychological and not just thrillers with that tag. This scratched the itch.
Don't hesitate, this is one of those that's actually worth it and deserves so much praise - and if you don't like it, there's only 6 episodes so it won't feel like a complete waste of your time.
Everything comes together perfectly, it's high budget and there's top tier acting from the whole cast. Enjoyed the heck out of this one.
