I've been thinking of this from the start I really want king to be playing with concubine and Im sahyeong to have enough evidence to prosecute them. A strong king is always fun to watch

are they happier with how drama went

10 eps left and idk how they will finish every plot line left with this pacing. wbl, wei family, nanny, grandma, sisters and the love lines, ml's family, the girl admired ml, that villain officer and of course the romance between the leads. i still enjoy it as it shows by not dropping it yet but first few eps were exhilarating with its darkness and with the scheming "consorts," grandma was still a family leader and it had exciting romance compared to how normal it is now. it feels like before becoming a couple all the accumulating sparks between the leads fizzled out before forming fire

I'm here to praise Gulnazar. First time watching her. If a bad actor played RSB, her fans would say RSB is a cold character, of course she looks expressionless and stunted! Meanwhile Gulnazar embodied RSB, I see RSB when I look at her. You understand the meaning of every little expression she makes. She's the one who sells female centric court scheming premise of the drama as story revolves around her, if she couldn't do it the drama wouldn't work. Cold oldest sister meant to be the leader that doesn't let others see her desires, also a scheming femme fatale, she is that girl.

second half of this drama is so good I love strong dali fighting together with kang and even leading him to continue, the growth they have compared to their past, I love un's unwavering goodness and loyalty to kang, king trying to be strong for his son, I even love kim hancheols back story and character arc, this isnt a drama with grand and complicated storyline but it does what it wanted to do well and i finish episodes with feeling satisfaction

oh god the ending scene in ep 11 was so beautiful. I literally watched this drama anticipating this scene and it was achingly sweet. I loved how they cried like babies, reuniting with your love after years of hardship not knowing your other half is somewhere waiting for you unable to move on
