Why does my Up look so thin here? Did he really starve himself to play this ep? Nooo! My heart is breaking seeing…
To me he looks pale. Like sick. As if he is on his own deathbed . I know he is not actually dying. Its just what the scene reminded me of. I’m being melodramatic.
I hope they either add 1 more episode like originally KinnPorsche was supposed to be 12 eps but they added 2 more…
What I wish for is more domestic scenes with Ming and Joe. Because it suits them so well. The house was the at one point their safe haven. Until everything went to hell.
I'd rather lovey dovey Ming than the previous Ming
You know I didn't find Ming being suddenly nice to be too much of out of character of him. If anyone can remember the smallest flashback of episode 3, when Ming wore glasses. He acted very much like how is he acting now. And people I'm not here trying to make excuses or any justifications for him. But saying that for me it didn't seem so out of place. He is still an asshole, just not to Joe anymore. I took him if anything being needy. Last thing I want to point is this drama is through Joe pov. So, unfortunately a lot of Ming's development happens either offscreen, or you really and I mean really need to take in all of his scenes. Pay attention to everything when he is quiet and when he is talking. And peel them like onions. It was exhausting I tell you. But it made me understand his character a little bit better. I went through rabbit hole in Tumblr about My stand in. And there were quite good analyses on Ming character. I still would have liked the show to be longer or better maybe split 2. One from Joe's pov and the other Ming's pov. That would have been interesting.
Im enjoying MDL so fr, even though Im active on other platforms , but for discussion plots and have good chats,…
I think is because people here are more mature. Honestly, I wrote a comment in Youtube and it get's cherry picked. Not to mention the amount of misspelling that has increased there.
Me being delusional in thinking I have some kind of superpower of manipulating time . So that the episode will arrive now. Honestly, I keep checking how many hours is left for the new episode to come. I mean I have other things to do as well. But you know blink and suddenly the episode is here. It's that type of feeling.
Unpopular opinion (apparently?) but imho Ming isn't responsible for Joes death. He didnt kill him, he didnt force…
I find it interesting on why Ming is compared to Vegas. If anything I think that Ming shares more similarities to Kinn than Vegas, First of all both are from powerful families and money. Second both are arrogant and start off getting in to the lives of their partners in pretty devious ways and reasons. They treat them as if they own them. Both have physically hurt and kidnapped their partners, manipulated them ,kept things from them. I actually like both of them but I find it odd on why Kinn gets so much passing of his actions than Ming. Probably because Kinn is easier to like.
I have to say despite our agreements and disagreements on this show. This has to be the most entertaining platform I ever been in. I'm impressed that the discussions remains mostly civil. I mean in comparison to YouTube. This is paradise.

I can't help but wonder what will people think of Ming from one year now? Because I do recall that Vegas was vastly hated by the audience. At least in the beginning, and in the end he left with split opinions. Some liked, some didn't.
we get to see him change and do a lot for joe starting in the next ep he just wanted actual confirmation that…
I mean the car scene episode 9 showed that Ming has developed a bit of patience. He does let Joe yell at him, and is like baby calm down please. Could you imagine if that happened in the earlier episode?
As someone said, it's just TV show, nothing more. In real life I woldn't like it, but in show? HELL YEA!
TV Show exaggerates and imitates us, our real life. Whenever someone criticises it reminds me of the phrase: think of the message it gives to the public. So? Is the audience so dumb that it can't differentiate or appreciate any form of media? Just because I like a fucked up character, doesn't mean I'm going to fall in love with in real life. Unfortunately I think a lot of people think that we will. Which is silly.
A bunch of words about Ming & Joe EP 4.Joe having been hit by Ming was a tipping point which drastically altered…
Well said. I too had commented on episode 4. But it's seem to be lost somewhere. I noticed that Ming has difficult in articulate his thoughts. So, his way of apologising truly is through gestures. His attempt at cooking in episode 2 was his way to say "I'm sorry". I mean even his confessions sounds silly to the audience. But what's interesting is that the camera and props show that it was actually more than that.
Exactly! I'm so glad that I'm not the only one thinking like that. People are analyzing Joe from their point of…
I mean we know its fiction. Fantasy even. I like my crazy characters but in fiction. Not in real life. I can understand people projecting their experience through media. I would too. However, I do find it strange that some expect fictionalised characters to act rational. Maybe closer to real life? But films and dramas has always been an exaggeration and imitation of our lives? So, I'm a little puzzled on why its now common to ask the cinematography of being realistic. When it never was and never will be? I mean the only realistic are the themes but that's another discussion entirely.

Which is shocking because people either like one or the other lead.
