One thing we all need to remember is that all are part of Bai Jue's plan. Bai Jue saved Shang Gu and transformed…
Yes knew all that but ep 39 preview where he tells houchi "you look like her, but you are not her" had me wanting to just make sure that it was him pretending not to be aware of her being shanggu and not him actually having some memory loss of not knowing that.
I have a confusion and hope someone can clear it up. Does the bai ju that we get post Qing mu know that houchi is shanggu or he just think she's someone who only looks like her coz you can't sense any power of shanggu on her. I mean this ofcourse before gu jun reveals she is indeed shanggu as seen from preview for ep 41
A conversation to be had with people who just deemed it as xianxia with already done tropes but boy you watch the second arc and the story if definitely not the same if you look past the leads having to struggle to be together across lifetimes part
On ep 8 right now and good god is her best friend annoying af esprit for pestering her about her senior like why you wanna set her up with him so bad and just airing out all about it in front of everyone
good luck to you!at this point I won't even say i'll wait for more episode to be release anymore. I know the moment…
I get you honestly it's gonna be hard to hold myself back coz I also pretty much keep refreshing the page for new episodes when it's airing time. I'm so eager to know what next, so it's gonna be a test for me.
I'm thinking may be I'll wait for all episodes to be out after I'm done watching upto ep 30 because I feel like once shit hits the fan and I know it is bound to happen, I don't think I'll be able to handle the wait for episodes to know what happens next and how it all works out. I would just wanna binge it all. Plus seeing that they gonna start with paying for episodes in advance thing, I'll probably just have to wait for like a week or so hopefully.
I was happy to see lai yi get a lead role but the story just failed to engage me, there was nothing interesting at all. it's like the script writer just aimed to have some material to make up for the episodes. I dropped after like 9-10 episodes. May be I'll pick it up again in future just for the lead cast if I ever have the free time.
Yes, I cried at E16 too ðŸ˜. I was expressing my opinion on Xu Kai's action below. I thought he did an amazing…
Oh for sure. I think this was his best I saw so far in the drama. The end of ep 15 and then ep 16, him just lost and in sorrow after shanggu's death like when zhiyang came to talk to him and he was carving the doll and it looked like he was not all there, just lost in his head, in his pain. He portrayed that well.
Oh yeah this drama definitely picked up with ep 14 and ep 15-16 the best so far and I can't believe but I actually cried in both. It really feels like now the drama starts kind of feel. The first important stop of the drama. Also, I have come to realize this that with a lot of dramas that are like over 40 episodes, unless the drama is really really terrible, you usually need to hold on and reserve judgement after 12-13 episodes and if it still doesn't work for you even after that then to each their own taste
I'm seeing not so very satisfied comments here but personally I have been liking this quite a lot. The simplicity of the plot does it for me, it's an easy watch. The leads are gorgeous. The acting is satisfactory too with obviously room for improvement. I do wish episodes could've been longer though. But overall this puts a smile on my face so it is a win.
I have watched all the available trailers several times to sort of put together a timeline and what might happen after the whole shanggu sacrificing herself I think in the upcoming few episodes but I still ended up confused how it's all gonna go. I mean we still got more than half the drama left to air. Looks like there are a lot of twists and turns in plot waiting for us. And judging by the trailer, there is the whole I have to be cold and aloof to the female lead for her safety resulting in misunderstandings between the CP and I hope they don't stretch it over for like half of the second half of the drama coz I'm gonna scream if that happens.
I was between dramas and gave this a chance coz you know sometimes you just need something light. It's short, it's sweet, lots of fluff, just simply cute light watch. Yes the storyline was a bit cliched or not anything revolutionary but it works just fine. It was a happy watch for me.
