seeing quite a few comments about it being all over the place but I'm not seeing that? you know xianxia dramas take a while to set up and pick up the pace and groove and get you invested. but anyway, the xianxia in republican era setting intriguing to me, both of the main characters have their own color too. I'll be patient in seeing where it goes, I have not had a problem with first 6 episodes as much to complain about it or contemplate dropping it.

That is true indeed. I do read the comments but usually decide myself if a drama is engaging me or not. even if I might put on off because of comments, I get back to it after sometime and give it a shot to see if I enjoy it or not.

on the third episode right now and I hope there is some good character development for the princess coz so far, she's coming off more as immature and annoying than sassy. her antics are not amusing especially when the guy is working and she is being selfish.

changheng and dfqc dynamic in the mortal world is so funny and something easy going about it. really enjoyed seeing that.
